Selon our weekly report from April 22nd til April 29th, soldiers conducted 27 invasions into the West Bank, and four into the Gaza Strip, and kidnapped 45 civilians, including 14 children and two women in the West Bank.
Among the kidnapped were two cameramen, including an Israeli cameraman, five international peace activists and two Palestinian activists.
On April 26, soldiers killed Ali Sweity, 45, in Beit Awwa town, near the southern West Bank city of Hebron, after demolishing a home while he was in it.
Sweity was on Israel’s “wanted list” for eight years until the army surrounded a home that belongs to one of his relatives after receiving info that he was there, and bulldozed the home while he was still inside.
Soldiers then dragged his body out of the rubble, shot and wounded five civilians, including two children. Israel claims Sweity carried several attacks against Israeli targets in the Hebron area.
On April 28, soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian child near Al Shujaeyya neighborhood, East of Gaza City.
The child was participating in a nonviolent protest against the Israeli “security belt” along the eastern Gaza border.
As the protestors were 150 meters away from the Nahal Oz crossing, soldiers fired rounds of live ammunition at youths who hurled stones at them, the child was killed and several residents were wounded.
On April 24, troops shot and wounded two Palestinian women and an international peace activist.
Soldiers, based at an Israeli military post near the Gaza border, east of the Central District in Gaza, opened fire at the nonviolent protest that was organized by the Popular campaign Against the Siege.

Soldiers uprooted farmlands in the two areas and withdrew later on.
The army also carried a limited invasion into the Al Qarara and Al Faraheen areas in Khan Younis, and bulldozed farmlands near the border.
Soldiers also invaded an area near the Industrial Zone, west of the Eretz terminal and opened fire at a number of Palestinians who were collecting stones from the rubble of shelled and bulldozed buildings in an attempt to reuse the rubble in constructing property as construction materials are still now allowed in Gaza.
The situation in Gaza continues to decline due to the siege, while poverty rates and unemployment continued to exceed alarming rates as more than 1.5 Palestinian in Gaza are still isolated and under constant attacks and violations.
In the occupied West Bank, soldiers continued to use excessive force against nonviolent protests against the Annexation Wall and against settlement activities and ongoing settler attacks.
Twelve nonviolent protestors were wounded, two of them were children, one woman, in addition to an Israeli peace activist and an Italian activists.
Vice President of the European parliament Luisa Morgantini suffocated after inhaling gas fired by the army.
The army also continued to step-up its violations against organizers of nonviolent protests.
Five protestors were kidnapped during the nonviolent protests against the Wall and settlement in Bil’in village, near Ramallah. One of them is a Palestinian journalist, and one is an Israeli cameraman. The army also kidnapped three international peace activists and released them Saturday April 24.
In Hebron, soldiers kidnapped three protestors who participated in a procession organized by “Youth coalition Against Settlements”.
The detained were identified as Issa Amro, a local peace activist, and Israeli activists Professor Emanuel Fardi, and Jonathan Pollack.
The protest was organized against the ongoing closure of the Al Shuhada Street, in the center of Hebron.
On April 22, several Palestinian families living in Al Mosafer area, south of Hebron, were handed military orders to demolish their structures and tents, and to leave the area. The army claims the structures were built without a permit.
The area in question is close to a number of illegal settlement outposts and the settlers are trying to expand their outposts by forcing the residents out of their homes and lands.
Jewish settlers running the waste-water management at the Gush Etzion settlement north of Hebron, flooded Palestinian orchards and farmlands in Beit Ummar town with sewage-water. At least seventy Dunams planted with grapes were flooded, while several brick-walls collapsed.
On April 23, settlers uprooted twenty olive trees in Wadi Qana area, near Dir Estia north west of Salfit District.
In Jerusalem, the Israeli police forced a Palestinian family out of their home in preparation to hand it to Jewish settlers.
Soldiers also used excessive force against nonviolent protests in Jerusalem after the residents held protests to counter provocative protests carried out by fundamentalist settlers who demanded the removal of all Palestinians from Jerusalem.
Furthermore, Israel continued its illegal settlement activities in the occupied territories and uprooted twenty olive trees in the Salfit district.
The Gaza Strip remained totally isolated from the rest of the world while Israel stepped-up its siege on the coastal region, and increased the number of military roadblocks in the West Bank and around Jerusalem.
Troops also kidnapped a Palestinian patients while trying to cross through the Erez Terminal, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. One patient was kidnapped while heading to an Israeli hospital for treatment after receiving a permit from the Israeli army.
The army continued to annex Palestinians lands in the West Bank in order to construct and expand illegal settlements and the Annexation Wall.
The PCHR warned that Israel is escalating its illegal measures and attacks against the Palestinians and that such measures violate the International Law and the basic rights of the residents.
The PCHR called on the International Community to intervene and oblige Israel to respect the International Law and the Fourth Geneva Conventions.
It valued the relentless efforts international civil groups and organizations in supporting the Palestinians in their just struggle against the occupation, settlements and the Annexation Wall.
The Center also called for lifting the siege imposed on Gaza since more than more years as it led to the death of hundreds of patients while hundreds could face the same fate as the coastal region ran out of basic medical supplies and equipment.

Man who lives inW.Bank since 4's removed by Israeli troop

Al-Gharazmeh refused to adhere to the Israeli order, and joined a sit-in at the Israel-Gaza border, housed in a small tent. The sit-in was started by Ahmad Sabah, who was released from prison a few days ago and forcibly removed to Gaza by Israeli forces, despite the fact that his family and life afre in the West Bank.
The new Israeli military has the potential to tear apart tens of thousands of Palestinian families, and is in direct violation of Israeli commitments under the Oslo peace agreement of 1993. and under Israel's obligation as a military occupier of all Palestinian land.

El asentamiento Ariel vierte aguas negras hacia ciudad palestina-Ariel settlement dumps sewage on Palestinian town

English.-
According to the Mayor of Bruqin, the situation has become acute, with sewage contaminating groundwater and crops throughout the area.
Ariel is the largest Israeli settlement in the West Bank, housing around 40,000 Israelis. Israeli officials have said that they will retain Ariel through any negotiations with the Palestinian Authority, despite the acknowledged fact that Ariel, like all Israeli settlements in the West Bank, is in direct violation of international law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.
Israeli sewage dumping on Palestinian land is common, and Israel controls 80% of the water in the West Bank, despite the fact that it is on Palestinian land.
Bruqin Mayor I'krimah Samara told reporters that the sewage dumping "is making life unbearable, polluting underground water and springs” in his town.
The Palestinian Authority, which is supposed to have control over the village and the entire West Bank, but has been prevented from taking control due to the ongoing Israeli military occupation.
The head of the Palestinian Water Authority, Shadad Al-A'tili, recently told Mayor Samara that the Palestinian Authority does have the technology available to construct sewage pipes and pumps that could divert the sewage, but that "the occupation authorities are obstructing the implementation of mechanisms that can solve the problem."
Israeli authorities have refused to issue the permits that Israel requires for the village to be able to construct the necessary pipes that would divert the Israeli sewage away from their town.

Gaza: Israeli Navy Attack Palestinian Fishing Boats-Gaza: La marina israelí ataca barcos de palestinos

ENGLISH.-
Israeli naval forces attacked on Tuesday Palestinian fishing boats off the shoreline of northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Lahiya.
Fishermen said that navy vessels opened fire at them while still close to the shore and forced to go back. Damage was reported to boats but no injuries among fishermen.
Since Israeli strengthened its siege on the Gaza Strip on June of 2007, the navy rarely allows local fishermen to go fare in the sea to fish and constantly attack them.

English.-
Just before 1am Friday morning 8 Israeli military Armoured Personnel Carriers entered Beit Ommar and began a series of raids into Palestinian homes. An international eyewitness of the first arrest of Yousef Sabarneh reports:
"At 00:50am a convoy of 8 Israeli Armoured Personnel Carriers and jeeps screeched to a halt outside the home of the Sabarneh family in Beit Ommar. Armed soldiers surrounded the house and spotlights from the military vehicles lit up the 3 story house. The family were given 2 minutes to leave the building by an Israeli soldiers shouting in Arabic over a loudspeaker. After the warning expired stun grenades were thrown through the closed windows of the first floor where the family had gathered. Shortly afterwards the stunned family members emerged into the cold night in their pyjamas to machine guns pointed in their faces and were made to lift their tops. Yousef Sabarneh, 19 years old, was then cuffed, blindfolded and bundled into the back of an APC."
The convoy then headed to the central mosque where a second house was targeted and another arrest was made. Yousef's relatives Hattam Sabarneh, 17, and Khalil Sabarneh, 24 were also arrested.
The Israeli soldiers also threw stones through the windows of the Sabarneh home. As PSP co-founder Mousa Abu Maria pointed out, "when Palestinians throw stones, they arrest us, and then they do the same thing, damaging our homes."
Ahmed Abu Hashem (also known as Ahmed Abu Maria, a long-time volunteer with PSP and Beit Ommar National Committee member) was also arrested from his home. Yousef Awad, 17, was the 5th person taken during the raid.
Beit Ommar, always a target of the Israeli military, has been experiencing increased repression since it began holding some of their regular demonstrations on a major West Bank highway, Route 60. In retaliation, last week the military closed all of the entrances to Beit Ommar for 5 days, not allowing any vehicular traffic from Beit Ommar, Saffa, or Sourif to access routes to Bethelem or Hebron, the major city centers. The closure affected more than 30,000 people from Beit Ommar and the surrounding villages.

Overnight Wednesday, April 21, thousands of gallons of sewage have been deliberately pumped onto 75 dunums (25 acres) of vineyards by settlers from Gush Etzion. The farmers in Beit Ommar have just started picking vine leaves which, with the harvest of grapes, constitutes their total livelihood. The fetid water was pumped from a 100mm pipe which protrudes several metres through the boundary fence of Gush Etzion settlement; whoever opened the valve did so in full knowledge that it would flood dozens of fields contaminating the fruit and destroying the harvest.
