Soldados de Israel irrumpieron ayer lunes en la tardecita en la prisión de Nafha y requisaron las celdas de los detenidos causando importante daños a sus pertenencias. La tensión aumentó cuando los soldados forzaron violentamente a los detenidos a salir de sus habitaciones.
La asociación de protección de detenidos, Wa’ed, reportó que el ataque fue llevado a cabo por Mitzada, la fuerza especial israelí de la administración de la prisión.
Esta sociedad aseguró que los soldados arremetieron contra la sección 14 de la prisión de Nafha y trataron con violencia física a los prisioneros, arrastrándolos a golpes y patadas a los patios para requisar, robar, confiscar equipos electrónicos y destruir sus celdas.
Este ataque, según informó la asociación, es uno más de los ataques que los israelíes organizan contra los detenidos y advirtió que este tipo de violencia está muy cerca de ocasionar enfrentamientos y disturbios mucho más graves entre prisioneros y soldados.
La Asociación convocó al la Cruz Roja Internacional para que intervenga y proteja a los detenidos llamando a Israel al orden para que cumpla con la Cuarta Convención de Ginebra y respete los derechos de los prisioneros.

The Wa’ed Society for Detainees reported that the attack was carried out by Mitzada, the Special Forces of the Israeli Prison Administration.
The Society stated that the soldiers broke into Section 14 at the Nafha Prison, and violently forced the detainees out of their rooms before searching the rooms and confiscating electric equipment.
The Society stated that the attack is one of many attacks carried out against the detainees and warned that such attacks could lead to clashes with the soldiers.
The Society called on the International Red Cross to intervene and to protect the detainees by calling on Israel to implement the Fourth Geneva Convention and related resolutions regarding the rights of prisoners of war.
