Anciano asesinado por ataque en el norte de Gaza-Elderly man killed by Israeli army fire in northern Gaza

Fuentes médicas palestinas reportaron en el día de ayer, lunes 10 de enero 2011, que un hombre anciano fue asesinado durante un ataque en el norte de Gaza.
El hombre fue eidentificado como Sha’ban Shaker Al Qarmout, de 65 años. Resultó muerto cuando el ejército abrió fuego en campos agrícolas de Beit Hanoun, en el norte de la Franja de Gaza.
El cuerpo del hombre fue trasladado al Hospital Kamal Odwan en Beit Lahia en el norte de la Franja de Gaza.
Dentro de este mismo ámbito informativo, tropas de Israel invadieron la ciudad de Khuza al este de Khan Younis, en el sur de la Franja de Gaza.
Los testigos informaro que varios tanques y vehículos blindados avanzaron intempestivamente 300 metros adentrándose en campos agrícolas muy cerca de la cerca de seguridad entre Gaza e Israel. No se reportaron enfrentamientos ni heridos.

Palestinian medical sources reported on Monday afternoon that an elderly Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli army fire in northern Gaza.
The man was identified as Sha’ban Shaker Al Qarmout, 65. He was killed when the army opened fire at agricultural lands in Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The body of the slain man was moved to Kamal Odwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, also in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
In related news, Israeli troops carried out a limited invasion into Khuza’a town, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
Eyewitnesses reported that several tanks and armored vehicles advanced nearly 300 meters into farmlands close to the “security fence” between the Gaza Strip and Israel. No clashes or injuries were reported.
