In political developments, Egyptian government officials attempting to negotiate a truce between Israel and Hamas have thus far been unsuccessful. Medical sources reported that a fighter, identified as Abdul-Rahman Hamad, in his twenties, was killed when the army fired a missile at fighters in northern Gaza; one resident was injured. The report says that the military admitted killing mainly "unarmed civilians, including children and infants", and that the source of the error was either the failure to paint the target of the attack on the correct site or that one of the munitions in the strike misfired. Earlier, medical sources in Gaza said at least three children - including an 18-month-old infant - and two women were killed in an air raid east of Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

De acuerdo a fuentes médicas, cinco personas fueron asesinadas, una de ellas una mujer cuya casa fue destruida, y otras 19 personas resultaron heridas, víctimas de más de una docena de bombardeos arrojados en el atardecer del sábado 18 de noviembre, en áreas residenciales y populares de Gaza.
En el sur de Gaza, un hombre de 30 años, identificado como Samhar Qidih, fue asesinado también cuando una bomba cayó sobre su casa. Tres ataques más en Rafah, dejaron un saldo de varios heridos y otros dos muertos.
Uno de estos ataques fue lanzado para intentar asesinar a Atiyeh Abu Naqira, uno de los líderes de las Brigadas Al Qassam, soldados del partido Hamas.
Su hogar fue completamente destruido, pero él no se encontraba allí en momentos del bombardeo.

According to medical sources, five people were killed, including a woman killed in her home, and at least 19 injured in over a dozen separate Israeli airstrikes on populated areas in Gaza on Saturday evening.

In southern Gaza, a 30 year old woman identified as Samhar Qidih was killed during an Israeli aerial bombardment of her home.
Also in southern Gaza on Saturday evening, three separate Israeli airstrikes took place in Rafah, two of which resulted in civilian casualties.
One of these airstrikes was a targeted assassination attempt of Atiyeh Abu Naqira, one of the leaders of the al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas party.
His home sustained extensive damage, but no one was present in the home when it was bombed.
Another airstrike on a home in Rafah wounded two women and 4 children. And a third airstrike in Rafah killed a Palestinian man who has yet to be identified.
In central Gaza, an Israeli air strike in Jahor al-Dik neighborhood killed two young men, identified as Ali Bin Saed, 25, and Muhammad Aydat, and injured three others. In addition, the Israeli military issued a statement that they targeted the vacant residence of Izzadin Hadad, who they claim was a senior Hamas operative, in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City. Seven Palestinian civilians were wounded in that attack.
Another man, Tamer al-Hamri, died in the hospital late Saturday night from wounds sustained in Saturday morning's bombing of Dir al-Balah in central Gaza.
Furthermore, according to journalist Safa Joudeh, an airstrike targeting a media center in Gaza City caused Cameraman Khader Zahar to lose one of his legs.
The building known as Shwaa and Hosari tower, houses a number of media organizations, including Al Quds radio, which is now off the air.

Even the killing of known Hamas leaders and fighters is a direct violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which requires a trial for anyone accused of involvement in violent resistance, and condemns extrajudicial assassinations.

Fuentes médicas palestinas de Gaza reportaron que una mujer palestina murió trs ser herida gravemente este viernes en la mañana luego de los bombardeos de la aramda israelí en Beit Lahia, Gaza. 23 palestinos han sido asesinados, y más de 245 heridos de gravedad.
La fuente informó que Tahrir Suleiman, de 22 años, sucumbió a las heridas en el hospital local.
Las heridas se le produjeron cuando se encontraba en el hogar de la familia Salman, de Beit Lahia. Los médicos y rescatistas pudieron liberar de la vivienda destruida y en llamas por las bombas a cinco miembros de la familia que estaban incinerándose y que se encuentran graves.
Esta mañana, viernes 16 de noviembre, la armada lanzó misiles hacia Jabalia, en el norte de Gaza. Dos palestinos murieron por el impacto, uno de ellos, un niñi. Otros siete fueron heridos también por los misiles.
Tras los mismos bombardeos, otros cuatro palestinos más fueron trasladados con heridas de gravedad al hospital de Kamal Odwan.

Palestinian medical sources in Gaza reported that a Palestinian woman died of serious injuries suffered, on Friday morning, when the army bombarded Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. 23 Palestinians have been killed, and more than 245 have been injured since Israel launched its aggression Wednesday.
The sources said that Tahrir Suleiman, 22, succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital in the area.
She was injured when the Israeli army bombarded a home that belongs to Salman family in Beit Lahia; medics and rescue teams managed to rescue five of her family members who were buried under the rubble.

On Thursday evening, Hanin Tafesh, 10 months, died of wounds suffered when the Israeli army bombarded her home.
The number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army since Wednesday arrived in 23, while the number of wounded residents exceeded 252, including children, infants and women. The victims include children, women and elderly.

The Israeli Army continued to escalate the attacks carried out against the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, early on Friday morning, with more than 30 air strikes against different areas of Gaza in less than 30 minutes.

Media sources in Gaza reported that at approximately 6 a.m. Friday, Israeli war planes carried out 30 attacks, targeting civilian areas, resistance centers and buildings that belong to the Ministry of Interior leading to extensive damage; several injuries were reported.
One of the bombarded buildings is a school run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in Gaza.
The army also bombarded several Palestinian security centers in addition to firing missiles into the Civilian Branch of the Ministry of Interior, west of Gaza City; extensive damage were also reported.
In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army bombarded another UNRWA school also leading to extensive damage.
Furthermore, the Ahrar Center for Detainees’ Studies, reported that the Israeli army also bombarded an under construction church in Gaza City leading to excessive damage.
The latest Israeli military escalation claimed that lives of 19 Palestinians, including seven children, since Wednesday evening, while at least 180 were injured.
Children, infants, women and elderly are among the casualties, including children whose bodies were severely mutilated and burnt due to Israeli shells. A pregnant woman and her unborn fetus are among the killed.
The resistance said that it will continue to defend its people, living under constant Israeli attacks and violations, and as long as Israel continues to kill and injure civilians, including children. Three Israelis were killed by Palestinian shells, and several others were injured.

El ejército de Israel continúa su agresión ofensiva de forma masiva contra la población civil de Gaza. Jueves a la noche lanzaron docenas de bombardeos en la costa de la Franja. Tres niños murieron y muchos residentes resultaron heridos. 19 palestinos fueron asesinados desde la tarde del miércoles hasta el reciente amanecer de viernes 16; 23 suman desde el sábado. 180 están heridos de gravedad, la mayoría son víctimas civiles, mujeres y niños, uno de ellos, Haneen Tafesh, de 10 meses.

Ashraf Al-Qodra, vocero del Ministerio de salud de Gaza, reportó que aviones de guerra lanzaron misiles contra automóviles de civiles en Bait Hanoun en el norte de Gaza y murieron tres niños.
Los niños fueron identificados como Fares Al-Basyouni, de 9 años, Odai Jamal Nasser, 16 años, y Tareq Jamal Nasser, de 14 años.

Ashraf Al-Qodra, spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, reported that Israeli war jets fired a missile at a civilian car in Beit Hanoun, in northern Gaza, killing three children.
The slain children were identified as Fares Al-Basyouni, 9, Odai Jamal Nasser, 16, and Tareq Jamal Nasser, 14.
Earlier on Thursday evening, a 10-month-old infant, identified as Haneen Tafesh, died at the Ash-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, after being seriously injured in an earlier Israeli attack.
The Israeli army is widening its assault against the civilians in Gaza, bombarding their homes and lands.
Israel killed 23 Palestinians in the coastal region since Saturday, 19 of them were killed in the last 24 hours; among the casualties are 7 children, a pregnant women, and two elderly. More than 180 Palestinians have been injured; dozens are in serious conditions.
Thousands of Palestinians held protests in different parts of the occupied West Bank denouncing the ongoing Israeli military aggression against Gaza. The army fired rounds of live ammunition, gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets at them leading to a number of injuries.
Clashes were reported in different parts of the Hebron district, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, and the soldiers kidnapped three Palestinians.
Injuries were reported in Jenin and Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank during clashes with the army, a number of residents were kidnapped.
The army also occupied a school in Jenin and turned it into a military base.
Soldiers also invaded Beit Sahour and Beit Jala, in the West Bank district of Bethlehem, and clashed with local residents who hurled stones at the invading forces.

Siete palestinos más han sido abatidos por los bombardeos y balas de los ataques de Israel en Gaza, mientras en Cisjordania las tropas atacan las marchas de protesta con gases lacrimógenos y munición de goma y viva.

Fuentes médicas palestinas informaron que este jueves 15 de noviembre siete palestinos han sido asesinados víctimas de los bombardeos sobre la Franja de Gaza. 

Los fallecidos asesinados por Israel desde el reinicio de los ataques el pasado sábado, son 23. Ocho palestinos murieron ayer miércoles 14 de noviembre, entre ellos dos niños, uno de 11 meses y otro de 7 años. 

Además, 200 cviles fueron heridos de gravedad en las últimas 24 horas, 24 son niños y 18 son mujeres, según reportaron los médicos en Gaza.

El Ministro de Salud de Gaza dijo que un hombre mayor y un niño de 2 años, fallecieron este mediodía, jueves 15 de noviembre. Otros dos residentes fueron alcanzados por un misil cerca de la estación de gasolina en beit Lahiya en el norte de la Franja de Gaza. 

Durante el amanecer de este jueves, tres palestinos fueron asesinados en Khan Younis, en el sur de la Franja, uno de ellos era un teniente de la policía de las Brigadas Al Qasam, soldados palestinos del grupo gobernante Hamas. 

En respuesta a los ataques de Israel, la resistencia palestina lanzó un cohete casero cerca del límite de la Franja de Gaza con Israel y otro en Tel Aviv. 

Por todos los rincones de Cisjordania se organizan marchas pacíficas de protesta en solidaridad con Gaza y en contra de la violencia armada y los crímenes de Israel. E

Hay marchas en Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron y Belem. Un adolescente fue herido en una de estas movilizaciones cerca de Belén.

Seven Palestinian killed as Israel continues to attacks Gaza, and in the West Bank troop’s attacks protests using tear gas. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

Palestinian Medical sources announced on Thursday that seven Palestinian were killed on Thursday due to the continued Israeli aerial and sea bombardment targeting the Gaza Strip. 

Death toll in Gaza since Saturday due to Israeli attacks now reached 23. Eight Palestinians were killed on Wednesday attacks among them two children, 11 month old and a seven year old. 

Moreover at least 200 civilians were injured by Israeli attacks in the past 24 hours. Among those injured 23 are in critical conditions, 24 children and 18 women, doctors in Gaza reported. 

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that and old man and a 2 years old child died on Thursday midday after succumbing to wounds they sustained last night. Meanwhile other two residents were killed when unmanned drowns fired a missile at a group of residents near a gas station in Beit Lahiya town, northern Gaza Strip. 

On Thursday at dawn Three Palestinians were assassinated in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, one of them was a Police lieutenant the other two are fighters of the al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas. 

As a response to the continued Israeli attacks Palestinian resistance groups fired home-made shells and rockets at Israeli targets near the Gaza Strip and one missile at Tal Aviv in central Israel.
Elsewhere in the West Bank, protests were organized in solidarity with Gaza and against the Israeli attacks targeting the coastal region.
Protests were organized in the cities of Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron and Bethlehem. One teenager was lightly wounded when Israeli troops attacked the protests near Bethlehem city.

Israel evacúa cientos de palestinos para disponer de áreas militares-Israel evacuates hundreds of Palestinians to conduct army training

TUBAS (Ma'an) -- Cientos de palestinos están siendo evacuados del norte del Valle del Jordán para usurpar el terreno y desarrollar allí ejercicios militares. Los pobladores recibieron órdenes del ejército israelí de abandonar sus hogares para comenzar con estas maniobras militares que comenzaron el domingo.  El alcalde de Aqaba y la villa deYarza, Mukhlas Masaid, dijo a Ma'an news que desde el pasado miércoles, los pobladores de Ein al-Hilweh, Yarza, Ras al-Ahmar, al-Malih y al-Meiteh recibieron órdenes de abandonar sus hogares en el área, y que esto provocaría el desplazamiento de más de 1000 palestinos de sus tierras. Por su parte, el alcalde de Al-Malih y al-Madareb, Aref Daraghmeh, dijo que de esta zona son 57 familias de  las aldeas de al-Hamamat, al-Burj y Humsa las que recibieron órdenes de demolición y más al sur del Valle, otras 40 familias de la villa de la aldea de Khirbet Tana. Las familia palestinas han sido intimadas a abandonar sus hogares en el término de una semana, mientras las Fuerzas de Ocupación Israelí ya han comenzado a efectuar maniobras militares sobre estas tierras. Daraghmed dijo que desde distintos sectores de la administración, el ejército, y el gobierno de Israel, trabajan juntos para asfixiar a los palestinos que habita en el Valle del Jordán, limpiar la zona de ellos, y construir más asentamientos y bases militares. Un poblador de Al Malih, Abu Mohammad, dijo a Ma'an news que si bien su familia hace cientos de año que vive en el Valle del Jordán, se ve forzado a abandonar su hogar por la seguridad de su familia y porque tienen miedo. Su casa ya ha sido tiroteada por artillería israelí con anterioridad. Muchas familias palestinas vienen abandonando el Valle desde el avance colonialista que comenzó con la ocupación ilegal de 1967. La mayor parte del Valle ha sido determinada Zona Militar Cerrada. "Esta es una treta que utilizan para silenciosamente, expulsarnos de la zona. Además Israel construye el Muro de separación en el oeste y están comenzando tareas en el este, donde ya han levantado kilómetros de barricadas de tierra y zanjas profundas".Reporteros de Ma'n fueron testigos del arribo de gran cantidad de maquinaria militar a los campos palestinos del Valle. El oficial a cargo de monitorear las colonias, Ahmad Assad, sospecha de una enorme escalada de colonización y violencia, y agrega que la intensidad de estos entrenamientos se orientan a unir operaciones de agresión israelíes-estadounidenses.  Más de 3500 efectivos militares de Estados Unidos llegaron a Israel el pasado mes de octubre para conducir los ejercicios militares en el Valle. Los lugareños manifiestan que a pesar de tener una historiamilitarizada, nunca vieron tanto despliegue de armamento y balística en la región. Un vocero del Pentágono, Jack Miller, confirmó que se trata de un gran ejercicio de entrenamiento y cooperación entre las dos naciones. (Sobre tierras palestinas) .

TUBAS (Ma'an) -- Hundreds of Palestinians are being evacuated from the northern Jordan Valley to make way for an Israeli military training exercise
Villagers received orders this week from the Israeli army to leave their homes for the exercises, which began on Sunday.
Aqaba and Yarza village council head Mukhlas Masaid told Ma'an on Wednesday that Ein al-Hilweh, Yarza, Ras al-Ahmar, al-Malih and al-Meiteh villages received orders, displacing a population of 1,000.
Al-Malih and al-Madareb council chief Aref Daraghmeh said 57 families in al-Hamamat, al-Burj and Humsa received the orders.
Further south, 40 families in the Jordan Valley village Khirbet Tana also received orders this week to evacuate while the army conducts training.
Daraghmeh said some families would be permitted to return after a two-day exercise, while others were told to leave their homes permanently.
He said several Israeli departments were working together to pressure Palestinians to leave the Jordan Valley in order to build Jewish settlements and military bases.
Al-Malih resident Abu Mohammad told Ma'an that despite living in the village for decades, he would leave out of fear for his safety. His house had been hit by Israeli artillery before, he said.
Researcher for the Applied Research Institute - Jerusalem Juliet Bannoura said the latest evacuation was part of a campaign since 1967 to remove Palestinians from the Jordan Valley, most of which is designated a closed military zone.
"This is a trick in order to execute a silent and final evacuation," Bannoura told Ma'an.
"Now Israel is completing building of the separation wall in the west, they want to work on the eastern side as well," she said.
A Ma'an reporter witnessed an influx of forces and military equipment into the region.

Settlement monitoring official Ahmad Assad suspected the huge scale and length of the training indicated it was related to joint Israeli-US operations.

Over 3,500 US military personnel arrived in Israel in late October to conduct a joint training exercise hailed as "the largest-ever ballistic missile defense exercise between our nations" by Pentagon spokesman Jack Miller. Austere Challenge 12 is scheduled to run for three weeks.

The Israeli military did not respond to repeated requests for comment.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says Israel has designated around 18 percent of the West Bank as closed military zones, an area roughly equal in size to Area A, the 17.7 percent of the West Bank under Palestinian Authority control.

Around 5,000 Palestinians live in Israeli military firing zones in the West Bank, UNOCHA says. Since 2010, Israel has demolished the homes of 820 Palestinians located in firing zones.

Durante estos 2 o 3 días los tanques circulan sobre las tierras agrícolas efectuando brutas maniobras y destrozando los sembradíos, los soldados instalan sus trincheras y practican tiro al blanco y en Ein Shibli han elegido precisamente áreas aledañas a parques infantiles y lugares poblados.

Les Forces d'Occupation Israéliennes sont retournées à Ein Shibli pour la troisième fois ce mois-ci afin d'y effectuer un entraînement militaire dans le village et la campagne environnante.

Las Fuerzas de Ocupación de Israel continúan sus políticas de apartheid día tras día. En las últimas horas han confiscados los tanques cisternas y los tractores que las familias beduinas del Valle del Jordán utilizan para abastecerse de agua, ya que las fuentes naturales han sido drenadas hacia las colonias ilegales de Israel y los pozos destruidos o confiscados. Israel utiliza el agua como un arma de guerra contra la supervivencia de los palestinos, ya que además de las necesidades vitales, el agua es necesaria para la economía sustentable de las comunidades beduinas dedicadas desde siempre a la agricultura y al pastoreo.
Algunos voluntarios internacionales se acercaron al lugar e intentaron impedir con sus cuerpos que los vehículos fueran confiscados. Fueron violentamente sacudidos por los soldados, luego confiscaron el pasaporte de una de los voluntarias. Ellas seguían resistiendo, entonando consignas de resistencia.

L' armée d'occupation israélienne continue quotidiennement ses crimes d' apartheid. Elle vient confisquer les citernes a eau des communautés bedouines de la vallée du Jourdain, les privant d'eau, source vitale, indispensable à la vie. Elle utilise l eau comme arme de guerre contre la population arabe, comme arme économique contre l économie palestinienne et aux profits des colonies et des colons israéliens, comme arme de ségrégation raciale et ethnique avec la volonté affichée de faire partir de la vallée la population locale. Les raisons sécuritaires qui sont perpétuellement avancée ne tiennent pas, est ce qu 'une citerne à eau est une arme qui peut mettre en danger la vie d'un seul israélien ?. A Al Maleh, nous étions là, cinq volontaires internationaux, quatre jeunes femmes suédoises et un francais, présents, témoins.
Les femmes et les enfants font barrage avec leur corps devant le tracteur pour l empêcher de partir, elles viennent nous chercher en renfort, nous nous joignons à eux. Les militaires les écartent violemment, bousculades, cris, pleurs, confisquent le passeport d'une d'entre elles et d'un volontaire. Les femmes résistent, ne cèdent pas, font face à l'engin qui est immobilisé quelques temps. Les fillettes poussent des cris stridents et des slogans de résistance de leur voix aigues d'enfant.
Les militaires appellent du renfort qui arrivent très vite, trois voitures de polices et quatre de l 'armée, ils sont maintenant 3 à 4 fois plus nombreux que les manifestantes. Ils se préparent, se casquent, s'arment de fusils lance grenades, chargent, dégagent l'engin qui peut partir, des coups pleuvent sur les femmes. Ils arrêtent trois internationaux.
Il n'y a eu aucune violence physique et/ou verbale, ni insulte contre les militaires. Les femmes s'opposent simplement en ce mettant devant ou sur les roues du tracteur, le chauffeur – un militaire n a jamais été menacé ce qui rend encore plus criminel les agissements de l'armée d'occupation.

El lunes 11 de junio de 2012, un grupo de granjeros de Beit Ommar, junto a miembros del Comité Popular y dos activistas internacionales, se encontraban cultivando las tierras de los campesinos locales, adyacentes a la colonia ilegal de Karmei. A la media hora de estar trabajando la tierra, colonos de Israel comenzaron a acosar a los campesinos, gritando groserías y amenazas en inglés primero, insultándolos con palabras como "perros", "nazis", y arrojándoles piedras. Los campesinos continuaron trabajando pacíficamente sus tierras y momentos más tarde llegaron las Fuerzas de Ocupación de Israel. Inmediatamente uno de los soldados se lanzó contra Mousa Abu Maria de 35 años de edad, miembro del Comité Popular y lo tomó del brazo gritándole. Mousa le pidió que lo soltara y dejara de gritarle, pero el soldado prosiguió hasta que logró tirarlo con fuerza causando una herida en la cabeza de Mousa.

On Monday 11th June 2012, farmers from Beit Ommar, alongside Popular Committee Members and two international activists, were cultivating land adjacent to the illegal Karmei Tsur settlement. After approximately half an hour of working their land, Israeli settlers began to harass the farmers, shouting abuse in English, calling those farming ‘dogs’ and ‘Nazis’, and throwing stones. The farmers continued to peacefully cultivate their land as Israeli Occupation Forces arrived at the scene. One soldier immediately grabbed Popular Committee Member Mousa Abu Maria (aged 35) by the arm. Mousa asked him to let go of his arm and to stop shouting, but the solider continued to forcefully hold him before dragging him to the ground. Four soldiers then surrounded Mousa and hit him in the face with their rifle butts, causing him to bleed from the head.
International activists who attempted to protect Mousa from this assault were beaten, violently dragged from the scene, and stamped upon repeatedly. Mousa Abu Maria was then handcuffed and taken to the Karmei Tsur settlement, where he was blindfolded. He was left bleeding for more than one hour, without any medical assistance.
Upon hearing of Mousa’s arrest, Beit Ommar residents, activists, and press arrived, and were met with tear gas, rubber bullets and sound bombs as they attempted to continue the peaceful cultivation of Beit Ommar land.

Tropas de Israel destruyen seis pozos de agua en Jenin y el Valle del Jordán

 
Ramalah, 7 jun (PL) Tropas israelíes destruyeron hoy seis pozos de agua en la norteña ciudad de Jenín y confiscaron tanques con el vital líquido usados por palestinos residentes en el ocupado Valle del Jordán, denunciaron hoy los afectados.

  La devastación de las seis fuentes de agua en Jenín se produjo horas después de que el gobierno de Benjamín Netanyahu autorizó la construcción de 851 nuevas viviendas para colonos judíos en varios asentamientos de Cisjordania, apuntaron las fuentes.

Autoridades palestinas en la Ribera Occidental explicaron que los militares sionistas a bordo de 10 vehículos protegieron a operarios de los buldózers que derribaron dos pozos artesanales en la intercepción con la aldea de Beit Qad, situada al oriente de la mencionada ciudad.

Esos depósitos acuíferos eran utilizados para irrigar docenas de hectáreas de terrenos agrícolas en Beit Qad, al igual que los otros cuatro derribados en la aldea de Deir Abu Daif, también en Jenin.

Según la agencia noticiosa WAFA, el gobernador de esa urbe, Talal Dweikat, describió esas medidas como parte de una política israelí para forzar a los palestinos a abandonar sus tierras y facilitar la expansión de asentamientos en localidades de la ocupada Cisjordania.

Daraghme recordó que los residentes en esa zona remota dependen de camiones cisternas para acceder diariamente al agua potable, dado que Tel Aviv prohíbe proyectos de desarrollo allí para obligarlos a emigrar en beneficio de la política de judaización condenada por la ONU.

El ministro israelí de Vivienda y Construcción, Ariel Atias, anunció anoche que edificará 851 casas para colonos en los asentamientos de Ariel, Ma'aleh Adumim, Adam, Efrat y Kiryat Arba, adicionales a las 300 ya autorizadas en el de Beit El.

La medida se conoció después de que el parlamento rechazó legalizar apartamentos construidos en terrenos privados propiedad de palestinos en Ulpana, un barrio que Israel considera ilegal por estar fuera de las colonias, las que la comunidad internacional también tilda de ilícitas.

La persistente ampliación por Tel Aviv de asentamientos en Cisjordania y Jerusalén Este, ocupados hace justo 45 años, es el mayor escollo para reanudar las conversaciones directas de paz con la Autoridad Nacional Palestina.

The lower house of the Egyptian parliament has unanimously approved a text declaring that Israel is the number one enemy of Egypt and calling for the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador and a halt to gas exports to Israel.
On Monday, Egyptian MPs voted by a show of hands on the text of a report, which was compiled by the Arab Affairs Committee of the People's Assembly (lower house of parliament).
"Revolutionary Egypt will never be a friend, partner or ally of the Zionist entity, which we consider to be the number one enemy of Egypt and the Arab nation," the report declared, adding, "It will deal with that entity as an enemy, and the Egyptian government is hereby called upon to review all its relations and accords with that enemy."
In 1979, Egypt became the first Arab country to sign a peace treaty with Israel, but was compelled to agree to supply gas to Israel as one of the main economic conditions of the US-sponsored peace deal.
According to the results of an opinion poll conducted by Synovate for Press TV and published on October 3, 2011, an overwhelming majority of Egyptians oppose the terms of the country's gas deal with Israel.
In the poll, seventy-three percent of the respondents said they were opposed to gas exports to Israel. Only 9 percent said they approved of Egypt supplying gas to Israel, and 12 percent had no opinion.
The issue of supplying gas to Israel has always been a contentious topic for Egyptians, who view Israel as an enemy and oppose engaging in any form of business with it.
According to a $2.5 billion export deal with Tel Aviv, signed in 2005, Israel receives around 40 percent of its gas supply from Egypt at an extremely low price.

14 de marzo-Demoliciones en Jiftlik-Demolitions in Jiftlik

Hoy, miércoles 14 de marzo, entre las 4 y las 6 de la tarde, las Fuerzas de Ocupación Israelí efectuaron un raid de demoliciones en la zona de Jiftlik. Demolieron tres hogares y dejaron a 22 personas sin techo. Un bulldozer y 12 jeeps militares de Israel rodearon a las viviendas y declararon esas zonas, "zona militar cerrada".
La primera casa destruida estaba constituida por tres habitaciones, estaba ubicada en Tel El Samadi, en las cercanías de Abu Al Ajaj en Jiftlik. Se trata del hogar de Ayman Meteb Mahoud Ideas. Allí vivían él, su esposa y cinco niños pequeños, de 1 a 5 años de edad. Se les dio 30 minutos para retirar sus pertenencias. "No tuvimos tiempo de sacar todas nuestras cosas", dice Ayman. "Adentro quedó nuestra cocina con todos los enseres. Ahora yacen debajo de los escombros".

"No seguimos construyendo, nos dice Yousef, pero el ejército vino igual y acabó con todo lo que teníamos".
La tercera vivienda, ubicada en El Makhrooq, pertenecía a Sulaiman Tawfiq Daraghmeh. Se trataba de una construcción de tres habitaciones metálicas que se utilizaban como casa de verano. Al momento de la demolición, la familia no se encontraba en el lugar.
Estas demoliciones se suceden apenas un día después de la demolición de tres hogares y cinco corrales de animales en Fasayil Al Wusta.

Today, Wednesday, March 14th, between 4 and 6 pm the Israeli Occupation Forces raided the village of Jiftlik and demolished three houses making 22 people homeless. One bulldozer and 12 Israeli jeeps arrived and surrounded the families declaring the areas closed military zones.
The first house, a three room structure, was located in Abu al-Ajaj (al-Jiftlik) and belonged to Ayman Meteb Mahoud Ideas. He, his wife and his 5 children were given just 30 minutes to remove their belongings from the house but, as the owner of the house explained, “we didn't have time to take all your properties, we left inside our kitchen and all the kitchenware and now they lie under the ruins of my house”.
The second house was located in al-Jiftlik, near the main road and belonged to Yousef Bsharat. The army demolished his house without leaving his family the time to take their belongings. 7 people were displaced. Some months ago the family received an order to stop the construction of the building and, as the owner of the house said, “we didn't continue to build, but today the army came and destroyed everything I had”.
The third building, located in Makhroq (al-Jiftlik), belonged to Sulaiman Tawfiq Daraghmeh and it was a 3 room summer metal house and while the demolition occurred the owner wasn't there.
Just two days ago, on the 13th of March 2012, 3 homes and 5 animal shelters were demolished in Fasayil al-Wasta.

A las 8.30 de esta mañana (13 de marzo de 2012), las Fuerzas de Ocupación Israelí demolieron 3 hogares y 5 corrales de animales en Fasayil Al Wusta. 9 Jeeps militares, 1 bulldozer y 2 jeeps de la Adminisitración Civil rodearon a las familias declarando que sus hogares serían demolidos ya que la zona donde se encontraban había sido declarada "zona militar cerrada".
A los residentes de los hogares se les dio 15 minutos para retirar las pertenencias que pudieran en ese tiempo, luego de lo cual, el bulldozer arrasó con las viviendas.
Los hogares pertenecían a Abed Yasim Rashaydeh Abu Nahar y su hermano Hassan Yasim Rashaydeh y Hador Mohammed. Las familias están conformadas por 30 personas que vivían en estas dos carpas, 21 de las cuales, son niños.
La Adminstración Civil Israelí ordenó a la comunidad en su totalidad, evacuar el área advirtiéndoles que de lo contrario deberán demoler todas las estructuras.
Abu Nahar dijo, “...los niños viven con pánico por la presencia de soldados, temiendo que sus hogares sean atacados.”
Estos hogares han sido demolidos tres veces en el transcurso de un año.
En junio de 2011, las Fuerzas de Ocupación Israelí demolieron 18 hogares y 3 corrales de animales en Fasayil al Wusta, dejando a 103 personas sin hogar, entre ellos 63 niños.
El 20 de diciembre de 2011, las Fuerzas de Ocupación Israelí, demolieron los hogares de la familia Rashaydeh y sus corrales de animales.
Las condiciones de vida son extremadamente difíciles en este lugar de la villa, las continuas demoliciones cometidas por las Fuerzas de Ocupación tornan la situación cada vez más insostenible.

At 8.30am on 13th March 2012, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) demolished 3 homes and 5 animal shelters in Fasayil al-Wusta. 9 military and police jeeps, 1 bulldozer and 2 civil administration jeeps arrived and surrounded the family declaring their homes a closed military zone.

Residents were given 15 minutes to remove their clothes or other belongings before their homes were demolished.

The homes belonged to Abed Yasim Rashaydeh Abu Nahar and his brothers Hassan Yasim Rashaydeh and Hador Mohammed. In total 30 family members live in the tents including 21 children.

Israeli Civil Administration has ordered the whole community to evacuate the area or they will demolish every structure. Abu Nahar said, “...the young children especially, are always afraid the soldiers will come and attack our homes.”

It is the 3rd time IOF has demolished their homes in less than 1 year.

In June 2011, IOF demolished 18 homes and 3 animal shelters in Fasayil al-Wusta making 103 people homeless including 63 children. Many left making it even harder for the people who stayed.

On 20th December 2011, IOF demolished all Rashaydeh family homes and their animal shelters.

Living conditions are extremely difficult in this part of the village. Repeated home demolitions by IOF have made their situation even worse. At the moment they will rebuild their homes and animal shelters with the little resources available to them but continue to live in fear of the next demolition. The community has received some emergency humanitarian aid but this doesn’t address the needs of the community.

Abu Nahar explained: ”Many organisations have come here offering things like metal water tankers or new tents following demolitions. We don’t want this kind of support, we need water pipes and want to live in normal houses.”

IOF have ordered all Palestinians to leave Fasayil al-Wusta but Abu Nahar says he will die on his land.

Their community suffers political oppression and they want a sustained campaign of support which aims to establish their right to exist on their land.

Padre e hija asesinados en Gaza-23 muertos-Father, daughter, killed in Israeli air strike-Death toll rises To 23

Fuentes médicas palestinas de la Franja de Gaza, reportaron hoy lunes 12 de marzo que un padre con su hija fueron asesinados cuando la Fuerza Aérea Israelí bombardeó Tel Az-za'tar en Beit Lahia, en el norte de la Franja de Gaza.
La víctimas fueron identificadas como Mohammad Al-Hassoumi, de 65 años, y su hija Fayza de 30.
En la mañana de hoy, lunes 12, un estudiante de 15 años, Nayef Sha'baan Qarmout, fue asesinado mientras que otros seis niños que se encontraban junto a él, resultaron heridos, tres de gravedad. Esto ocurrió cuando un jet de guerra disparó un misil al patio de una escuela donde el grupo de adolescentes se encontraba jugando. Esta escuela se encuentra a pocos metros de una estación de gas en As Sudaniyya en el oeste de la ciudad de Gaza.
El número de víctimas desde la tarde del viernes ha ido incrementándose producto de los continuos bombardeos. Hasta el momento son 23 víctimas mientras que cerca de de cien residentes están heridos, muchos de gravedad.
Esta mañana, dos milicianos de las brigadas Al-Quds, el brazo armado de la Jihad Islámica, fueron asesinados cuando la armada israelí desató una ola de bombardeos en el sur de la Franja de Gaza, en la ciudad de Gaza, y en el norte de la región costera.
Uno de los milicianos muertos fue identificado como Ra’fat Jouda, de 24 años, otros dos fueron heridos en el área de Al-Qarara; una mujer que caminaba en las cercanías también resultó herida.
En las primeras horas de este lunes, otro miliciano identificado como Hamada Salman Abu Motlaq, de 24 años, fue asesinado cuando la armada disparó un misil cerca de la Mezquita de la villa de Abasan, al este de Khan Younis, en el sur de la Franja de Gaza. Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported Monday that a father and his daughter were killed when the Israeli Air Force bombarded Tal Az-Za’tar area in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The sources identified the victims as Mohammad Al-Hassoumi, 65, and his daughter, Fayza, 30.
Earlier on Monday, a 15-year-old school student, identified as Nayef Sha’baan Qarmout, 15, was killed, and six other children were wounded, three seriously, when an Israeli war-jet fired a missile at school students playing near a gas station in As-Sudaniyya area, west of Gaza city.
The child was playing with some of his schoolmates at a playground near his school, north of Gaza city, when the army fired a missile at the playground.
The latest Israeli bombardment raises the number of Palestinian killed since Friday afternoon to 23 while dozens of residents, including children, were injured; several wounded residents are in currently in serious conditions.
Earlier on Monday, two fighters of the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, were killed when the army carried out a series of air strikes targeting the southern part of the Gaza Strip, Gaza City, and the northern part of the coastal region.
The army killed a fighter, identified as Ra’fat Jouda, 24, member of the Al-Quds Brigades, and wounded two other fighters, in Al-Qarara area; a woman who was walking nearby was also wounded.
On Monday at dawn, a fighter identified as Hamada Salman Abu Motlaq, 24, was killed when the army fired a missile at him near the mosque of Abasan village, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The fighter is a member of the Al-Quds Brigades; three civilians were wounded and were moved to a local hospital.
Late on Sunday at night, and after midnight, 35 Palestinian, most of them are women and children, were injured in a number of Israeli attacks targeting several areas in Gaza. They were all moved to local hospitals suffering mild-to-moderate injuries, while one of them is in a serious condition.
The Al-Quds Brigades issued a press release stating that it will continue to fire shells into Israeli areas in retaliation to the ongoing Israeli military escalation.
Meanwhile, Israeli Army Chief of Staff, Benni Gantz, issued orders to the army to keep on “targeting fighters” in Gaza. His statements came after a meeting he held with senior military commanders.
On his part, Israeli Defense Minister, Ehud Barak, stated that Israel will continue its strikes, and added that “the army will strongly retaliate to any attempt to harm Israeli citizens”.
Israeli Army spokesperson, Brigadier Yuav Mordachai, stated that the army is ready for a massive ground offensive in the Gaza Strip should the resistance continue to fire shells into Israeli territory.

Reforzando la táctica de ataques dirigidos, la armada israelí asesinó el pasado viernes a Zuheir Al Queisi, secretario general del Comité de Resistencia Popular de Gaza. Este tipo de ejecuciones es completamente ilegal, sin embargo Israel la utiliza regularmente con total impunidad.
La armada israelí está bombardeando la Franja de Gaza de manera indiscriminada, hiriendo y asesinando indistintamente a civiles, militantes, hombres, mujeres y niños. Este lunes 12 de marzo, después del mediodía, las víctimas ascendían a 23 fallecidos y 73 heridos. El escenario recuerda a la Operación Plomo Fundido ocurrida entre 2008 y 2009, en la que murieron 1400 palestinos y la Franja de Gaza quedó exangüe.
Hasta la hora de esta redacción, los bombardeos se sucedían aterrorizando a la población. El territorio de la costa quedó sin luz debido a los bloqueos energéticos de Israel, esto agrava peligrosamente la atención en los hospitales.
Como es habitual, sin ninguna reacción efectiva de los estados del mundo, Israel viola el derecho internacional; el artículo 33 de la IV Convención de Ginebra estipula que los castigos colectivos son ilegales. Recordemos que además, Israel asfixia a la Franja de Gaza con un bloqueo que ya lleva más de cinco años.
La impunidad con que actúa Israel no sólo está amenazando a Palestina sino que es además una amenaza al derecho internacional.

Renouant avec la pratique de « l’attentat ciblé », l’armée israélienne a ce vendredi assassiné Zuheir Al-Queisi, secrétaire général des Comités de Résistance Populaire de Gaza. Alors que ce type d’exécution est totalement illégal, Israël l’utilise néanmoins régulièrement en toute impunité.
Depuis, l’armée israélienne bombarde la bande de Gaza, frappant indistinctement civils et militants, hommes, femmes et enfants. Ce lundi après-midi, le bilan est déjà de 23 Palestiniens tués-dont plusieurs enfants- et de 73 blessés. Le scénario rappelle indubitablement celui qui avait précédé l’opération meurtrière de 2008-2009 qui avait fait 1400 morts et avait laissé la bande de Gaza exsangue.
A l’heure actuelle, les frappes continuent de se succéder, terrorisant la population gazaouïe. Or le territoire côtier doit en outre faire face à des coupures d’électricité dues au blocus énergétique imposé par Israël. Ce qui entrave dangereusement le travail des hôpitaux et des équipes médicales à Gaza.
Comme à son habitude, sans réaction effective de nos Etats, Israël continue de transgresser le droit international : en effet, au sens de l’article 33 de la 4e Convention de Genève, les punitions collectives sont illégales. Rappelons que, outre les frappes régulières sur la population de la bande de Gaza, Israël procède à sa lente asphyxie en imposant depuis plus de cinq ans un blocus illégal sur ce territoire. L’impunité dont jouit Israël ne met pas seulement en danger la population palestinienne mais elle menace également sévèrement l’effectivité du droit international.

Continúa dura ofensiva israelí sobre Gaza. En total 18 personas fueron asesinadas el fin de semana, entre ellas niños y ancianos, y más de 50 están heridos.
La Dra Hanan Ashrawi, miembro del Comité Ejecutivo de la OLP, Organización para la Liberación de Palestina, declaró ayer sábado 10 de marzo, que Israel está cometiendo crímenes y asesinatos extrajudiciales contra la población palestina de Gaza, y que el Primer Ministro Benyamin Netanyahu, está buscando provocar a la población para desestabilizar la región y destruir la conciliación palestina.
La Dra Ashrawi dijo que la ofensiva israelí contra los palestinos de Gaza, y las docenas de muertos y heridos, incluyendo niños, violan las leyes internacionales y todas las resoluciones legales del mundo. Ella agregó que "lo que está sucediendo es otro intento de distorsionar y entorpecer la reconciliación palestina" y que "lo que Netanyahu está buscando es aumentar su popularidad antes de las elecciones israelíes”.
“A expensas de la sangre palestina, Israel evita hacerse cargo de sus responsabilidades políticas y legales" agregó la Dra Ashrawi.
La Dra. Ashrawi hizo un llamado a la comunidad internacional y a las Naciones Unidas, para que intervengan y frenen el avance de la violencia israelí y protejan a la población palestina.
Las Autoridades Palestinas agregaron un llamado a levantar el bloqueo sobre la Franja de Gaza, y a terminar con la Ocupación ilegal israelí.
A pesar de todos estos llamados, Israel continuó sin ningún obstáculo su ofensiva sobre las poblaciones gazatíes, asesinando hasta el momento, domingo 11, 18 palestinos incluyendo niños y ancianos e hiriendo a más de 50 residentes.

Esta mañana (domingo 11), un niño de 13 años, identificado como Ayyoub Asaliyya, fue asesinado durante un bombardeo sobre la población de Jabalia, muchos residentes fueron heridos durante el mismo bombardeo en el norte de la Franja.
Según el relevamiento informativo de la prensa en el Centro para los Derechos Humanos de los palestinos en Gaza, varios civiles, inluyendo niños, fueron asesinados en la mañana de ayer sábado 10.

Offensive Continues - Child, Elderly Man Killed, 18 Since Friday
Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), Dr. Hanan Ashrawi, stated Saturday that Israel is committing crimes and extrajudicial assassinations against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and that Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is seeking further provocation in order to destabilize the region, and to provoke the Palestinians into further retaliation.
Dr. Ashrawi said that the Israeli offensive against the Palestinians in Gaza, and the dozens of casualties, including children, violate International Law, and all international legitimacy resolutions.
She added that “what is happening in Gaza is another Israeli attempt to meddle into internal Palestinian affairs in order to stop the Palestinian reconciliation”, and that “Netanyahu is seeking to boost his popularity in the upcoming Israeli elections”.
“He is avoiding the implementation of his legal and political responsibilities on the expense of Palestinian blood”, Dr. Ashrawi said, “Israel’s failure in dragging Iran into a military confrontation pushed it to create this cycle of violence against the Palestinians”.
Dr. Ashrawi also voiced an appeal to the international community, the United Nations, and the Quartet Committee, to intervene and stop the Israeli military escalation, and to provide the Palestinian people with the needed protection.
The Palestinian official further called for lifting the illegal Israeli siege on Gaza, and for ending the Israeli occupation.
On the ground, Israel continued it offensive against the Gaza Strip killing 18 Palestinians and wounding dozens of residents. The casualties include children, women and elderly.

Earlier on Sunday, a child identified as Ayyoub Asaliyya, 13, was killed and a several other residents were injured when the army bombarded Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
In a press release issued Sunday, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, based in Gaza, reported that two Palestinian civilians, including a child, were killed on Saturday morning, and that the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire and shells since Friday evening, March 09, 2012 until Saturday morning, arrived to 18 while at least 53 Palestinians were wounded.
