Un grupo armado de extremistas israelíes atacó ayer, martes 22 de febrero la villa Tiwana, cerca de la ciudad de Hebrón, al sur de Cisjordania, arrasando con una gran plantación de olivos.
Los testigos manifestaron que los colonos llegaron desde el asentamiento ilegal de Maoun y comenzaron a destrozar los árboles mientras miembros del ejército, parados alrededor, los apañanaban y no intentaban frenarlos.
Fuentes locales informaron que se trata de un ataque más de los ataques que normalmente se suceden en cuanto a destrucción de árboles frutales, olivos, parras, arbustos.
En relación a este hecho, varios residentes resultaron heridos también ayer martes por la tarde, luego que otro grupo de colonos armados atacó la villa de Burin al sur de la ciudad de Nablus al norte de Cisjordania.
Los colonos atacaron hogares, apedrearon a los pobladores, invadieron sus propiedades provocando daños y varios heridos entre los residentes palestinos.

A group of armed extremist Israeli settlers attacked, on Tuesday, at-Tiwana village, near the southern West Bank city of Hebron and uprooted several olive trees.
Eyewitnesses reported that settlers of the Maoun illegal outpost invaded the village and uprooted several trees while the Israeli army stood by and did not attempt to stop them.
Local sources said that this attack is one of many similar attacks carried out by the settlers who repeatedly uprooted bushes and trees.
The sources added that the settlers recently carried out repeated night attacks against the village and its orchards.
In related news, several residents were wounded, on Tuesday evening, after a group of armed settlers attacked Burin village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
The settlers attacked several homes and hurled stones at the residents and their property leading to damages and several injuries among the residents.
