Plantaciones de olivos arrasadas por Israel cerca de Beit Ommar-Olives plantation destroyed by Israeli bulldozer near Beit Ommar

Hoy martes 22 de febrero en la mañana, en el área de Al Jaba, dos bulldozers israelíes destruyeron las entradas de piedras para acceder junto con colonos y civiles israelíes con sus vehículos y poder cortar plantaciones de olivos de tierras palestinas,algunas de estas tierras arrasadas se encuentran cerca del asentamiento ilegal de Bat Ayn. Después de haber talado una gran cantidad de árboles, cerca de 200 plantas, se dedicaron a colectar los deshechos de ramas y cargarlas en los vehículos de los colonos para no dejar en el área la prueba del delito. Los árboles arrancados tenían entre 8 y 12 años de vida, el área invadida abarca unos 200 donums y algunos de los propietarios son:
1- Mousa Hamdan Abu Loha
2- Azat Abu Latifa
3- Ibrahim Mahmoud Abu Loha
4- Mohammed Abd Al-Latif
5- Ahmed Sobhia

Al-Jaba’a, es una pequeña villa que se extiende al este de Belén y al norte de Beit Ommar, su población es de 900 habitantes, se encuentra también dentro de la línea verde. Su población sufre además serias consecuencias en el transporte ya que la ruta principal que conecta Surif con Al Jaba ha sido bloqueada por Israel, además, se encuentra rodeada de asentamientos, al norte está Bietar Alit, al este Joush Attsyoun, al sur Bat Ayn; esta región es continuamente atacada por los colonos de Bat Ayn.

Al-Jaba’a, is a small village lies on the west of Bethlehem and the north of Biet Ommar, and it has a population of 900 person, and it lies on the green line too, and its people suffer from transportations because the main road was blocked by Israel and this road connect Surif with Al-Jaba’a, and its surrounded by settlements, from north Bietar Alit, and from east Joush Attsyoun. And from south Biet Ayen, and also there is a continuously attacks by settlers from Biet Ayen toward this area.
