Representantes de la municipalidad de Jerusalén demolieron el hogar de una gran familia en Al Isawiyya, en el área de Jerusalén ilegalmente ocupada, luego de lo cual se reportaron enfrentamientos enre una docena de palestinos y los oficiales de policía de Israel.
Fuentes locales reportaron que más de una docena de policías israelíes y miembros de la guarnición de frontera, invadieron Al Isawiyya y rodearon a unas veinte viviendas preparándose para tirar abajo el hogar de Atiyya Ismael Imteir y su familia.
Los residentes y vecinos de Atiyya hicieron frente a la policía israelí y estos arrojaron inmediatmente gases lacrimógenos lo que obligó a que muchos palestinos fueran trasladados al centro médico con síntomas de asfixia.
La policía alude que el hogar de Atiyya fue construido sin permiso.
La vivienda fue completamente demolida sin habérsele hecho llegar al propietario un aviso de anticipación ni ningún documento con la orden de demolición.
Luego de esta demolición la policía continuó demoliendo una imprenta perteneciente a Mohammed Robin. La policía aludió lo mismo, que estaba allí, construida sin autorización. Todo el material y maquinaria de trabajo que había adentro fue consfiscado.
Ayer martes 30 de noviembre, la Sociedad para el Desarrollo de Al-Maqdese, reportó que Israel ha demolido más de 1500 hogares en Jerusalén desde la ocupación forzosa -declarada ilegal por la Corte Internacional de Justicia- acaecida en 1967.
La Sociedad agregó que el gobierno de Israel y la Municipalidad de Jerusalén preveen derribar en los próximos 2 años, 1300 hogares palestinos más y otras estructuras incluyendo comercios de trabajadores locales.

Clashes were reported between dozens of Palestinian residents and Israeli policemen after the Jerusalem municipality demolished a Palestinian home in al-Isawiyya, in occupied East Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that dozens of Israeli policemen and members of the Border Guard Units invaded al-Isawiyya town and surrounded dozens of homes to prepare for demolishing the home of Atiyya Ismael Imteir.
Dozens of residents clashes with the police and several residents were treated for the effects of teargas inhalation. The army also claimed that one policeman was mildly wounded in his face.
The police claimed that the home of Atiyya was built without a construction permit.
The home was demolished without any prior notice as the owner never received any document in this regard.
Furthermore, the police demolished a print house that belongs to resident Mohammad Robin. The Police claimed that the print house was built without a construction permit. All contents were confiscated.
On Tuesday, the al-Maqdese Society for Development reported that Israel has demolished 1,485 Palestinian homes in Jerusalem since it occupied East Jerusalem in 1967.
The Society added that the Jerusalem municipality issued more than 1,300 orders to demolish Palestinian homes and structures in the last two years.
