Hace tres días, el 15 de marzo, Aiman, un niño de once años del Valle del Jordán, fue atacado por tres colonos israelíes del asentamiento ilegal de Maskyyot. Los colonos llegaron al lugar en un auto azul, cuando Aiman se encontraba jugando con cuatro amigos cerca de un manantial natural.
Este manantial se encuentra a diez metros de la casa de Aiman, sin embargo, ni él ni su familia, ni ninguno de los vecinos palestinos de la zona, pueden hacer uso del agua ya que Israel se los ha prohibido, y por este motive son usualmente amenazados y atacados por colonos cuando están cerca del lugar.
En esta ocasión, los colonos que atacaron a Aiman, tomaron su caballo por la fuerza, le ataron un cable alrededor del cuello y luego de tratar de asfixiar al animal, le rompieron la cabeza con un arma pesada. Los colonos cometieron toda esta brutalidad frente a los ojos horrorizados de Aiman y sus amigos.
La ocupación ilegal de Israel en la zona sigue adelante con sus planes de construir más asentamientos ilegales. En estos días han estado trabajando bulldozers emparejando el terreno. Las hermanas de Aiman fueron atacadas cuando se acercaron al lugar para que sus vacas bebieran agua. Hace dos semanas, la madre de Aiman fue golpeada por los colonos.

Three days ago, Aiman, a boy of eleven years old from the Jordan Valley, was attacked by three settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Maskyyot. The settlers arrived in a blue car when Aiman was playing with four friends near the spring water.
This spring water is ten meters far from his home, however, Aiman, his family, and all the Palestinian living in the Jordan Valley, are banned to use them and usually threatened and attacked by settlers when they are around.
In this occasion, the settlers who attacked Aiman, took his horse, tied a cable around its neck and after tried to asphyxiate the animal, the settlers broke its head with a heavy weapon. The settlers carried out all this brutality in front of the eyes and horror of Aiman and his friends.
The Israeli illegal occupation is also working with bulldozers in this area preparing the land for building more settlements.
Aiman’s sisters were attacked in the same place when they approached the spring water to give water to their cows. Two weeks ago, Aiman’s mother was also beaten by settlers.
