On Tuesday 22nd March, Israeli settlers began to expand their colonies on Ayn Al Jaua lands in the Jordan Valley at 20 minutes from Jiftlek village. That night, hundreds of settlers coming from Malkkiot illegal settlement surrounded one of the tent’s families crying and laughing at them. In the morning, on Wednesday 23th March, the family found that settlers had built a blue tent just besides their home, at around twenty meters. During the day, international activists stay in the area bringing support to the Bedouin family and also one group of them remained in the tent at night.
During the afternoon, when the cows of the family were “pastoreando”, the settlers moved some chairs to the middle of the courtyard between the “rebaño” and the blue tent, so the internationals accompanied the movement as a protection for the child and his animals. At the evening, one military jeep with soldiers arrived and intimated Nabil, father of the Bedouin family, to move his tent which if not would be demolished.
Later, when the family and the internationals went to sleep, they heard the settlers ordering their dogs to attack, so they woke up suddenly and go around the Bedouins tent to show their presence and support for the Palestinians.
On Thursday 24th, in the first hours of the evening, the settlers began to put up a new structure, invading directly around the Bedouin home and their cow’s pen.
They dig iron sticks on the land, and hit (patear) everything they found on their way in a clear provocation. Then, the surrounded the sticks with “alambre de púa”, making a fence around the pen and just in front of the door of the home.
One jeep with soldiers arrived to protect the settlers and they threatened some of the activists who recorded in cameras the facts, ignoring completely the situation against the family and also activists whose bodies were literally rounded by the alambres when they were sat down in the place where the settlers decided to extend the fence. Later, two police vehicles also arrived.
The soldiers intimated again the family and said they will remove by force the house. The family has the papers which show the legal rent of the area.
On March 25th, the family and the internationals were evicted in a violent way by the army. Around 30 Israeli soldiers surrounded the house and another group entered forcing the residents to out, pushing at them and pointing their backs with weapons. Family and internationals sat down in the back of the hill near the route. During the day more activists approached to support the Bedouin family while they could see that the settlers were dismantling the blue tent. They did their work with absolutely calm and moved their staff in a jeep.
In the afternoon, a group of soldiers ordered the internationals and the family to cross to the other side of the road because they determined that all the area would be closed military zone.
Before the evening, colons of soldiers formed a barrier down at the border of the hill and the Nabil tent was dismantled, banning the family to access and rescue their things until the follow day. Nabil, his family and international, tried to build another tent besides the Ayn Al Jaua community, but when they’ve just finish to stand some Wood and putt he “lona” in the roof, the soldiers appeared again and say that wasn’t either allow to build a home there.
The family passed the night in the school of Ayn Al Jaua.
Today, Saturday 26th March, Nabil and his family helped by internationals, go up to the dismantled home to gather the staff save and moved to another area at a few kilometers from there. In this new place they made a new tent. The army came again and said again that also this place is forbidden and they gave one day to Nabil for moving the new tent again.

El martes 22 de Marzo, colonos de Israel comenzaron una nueva expansión de sus colonias sobre Ayn Al Jaua en el Valle del Jordán, a 20 minutos de la villa de Jiftlek. Esa noche, cientos de colonos del asentamiento ilegal de Malkkiot, rodearon la carpa de una de las familias beduinas gritándoles y burlándose de ellos.
En la mañana del miércoles 23 de Marzo, la familia se encontró con que los colonos habían construido una carpa azul junto a su hogar a escasos veinte metros. A lo largo del día, activistas internacionales permanecieron en el área brindando apoyo a la familia beduina e incluso un grupo de ellos se quedó a dormir en la carpa durante la noche.
Durante la tarde, cuando las vacas de la familia se encontraban pastoreando, los colonos ubicaron sus sillas en medio de la ladera, entre el rebaño y la carpa azul. Un grupo de activistas decidió acompañar el movimiento de los colonos para proteger al niño pastor y a sus animals.
Hacia el atardecer, llegó un jeep militar y e intimó a Nabil, el padre de la familia, a sacar de allí su carpa ya que de lo contrario sería demolida por el ejército al día siguiente.
Por la noche, cuando familia y activistas trataban de dormir, escucharon que los colonos ordenaban a sus perros que atacaran. Los activistas salieron de la carpa, para con su presencia tratar de frenar la situación y mostrar su apoyo a los palestinos
El jueves 24 de marzo, luego de un día de lluvia constante pero de ambiente aparentemente tranquilo, a la caída de la tarde, los colonos comenzaron a instalar nuevos fierros para cercar con una estructura de alambre de púa, el hogar beduino y el corral de las vacas.
Clavaron estos fierros directamente delante de la puerta del hogar y alrededor del corral, pateando todo aquello que se interponía a su paso en una evidente provocación, y alambrando con púa.
Un jeep con soldados llegó para proteger a los colonos y se mostró amenazante con los activistas que registraban lo que ocurría, ignorando al mismo tiempo, la agresión cometida contra la familia e incluso contra activistas que resultaban literalmente alambrados por los colonos ya que estaban sentados en el lugar por donde a los colonos se les ocurría prolongar el perímetro del cerco. Luego llegaron dos vehículos de la policía. Los soldados volvieron a intimar a la familia advirtiéndoles que si no mueven su hogar de ese lugar, sería demolido al día siguiente. La familia cuenta con documentos que prueban que están rentando esa propiedad.
El día 25 de marzo, la familia y los internacionales que la acompañaban fueron desalojados de manera brusca por el ejército. Alrededor de 30 soldados rodearon la vivienda y un grupo más entró a la misma haciendo salir por la fuerza a los empujones y apuntándoles. Los residentes, acompañados de los internacionales, se sentaron al final de la ladera cerca de la ruta. Allí se acercaron más activistas que acompañaron a la familia durante todo el día mientras se veía que los colonos desmantelaban su carpa azul. La desarmaron con calma y transportaron sus pertenencias en un todo terreno, acompañados por los soldados.
En un momento de la tarde los soldados obligaron a los residentes y a los internacionales a cruzar la ruta ya que determinaron que toda la ladera sería zona militar cerrada.
Antes del atardecer, una columna de soldados formó una barrera a la vera de la ladera y la casa beduina de Nabil fue desmantelada, prohibiéndose a la familia acceder a rescatar sus pertenencias hasta el día siguiente.
Nabil, su familia y los internacionales, intentaron construir una nueva tienda junto a la comunidad de Ayn Al Jaua, pero cuando habían montado algunos parantes y estaban ubicando la lona, un jeep del ejército volvió a intimarlos con que tampoco podían construir ahí su casa.
Hoy, sábado 26 de marzo, Nabil con su familia y la ayuda de activistas internacionales, subieron a la casa desmantelada a recuperar los enseres y pertenencias y se movilizaron hacia un área a pocos kilómetros del lugar donde montaron una nueva tienda. El ejército volvió a aparecer ahí y a decir que ahí tampoco pueden vivir, dándole a Nabil hasta el día de mañana para volver a desarmar su casa.
