Tres libaneses fueron asesinados en cercanías de la frontera con Israel. Hezbollah ha dicho que también ha muerto un ciudadano israelí pero ninguna confirmación oficial ha surgido desde Israel.
La escaramuza comenzó muy temprano en la mañana del martes cuando reportes conflictivos y poco precisos empezaron a dar noticias a uno y otro país acerca de las razones de por qué o quién comenzó el enfrentamiento.
Tres soldados del Líbano murieron, cinco fueron gravemente heridos, e incluso un periodista fue asesinado.
Los soldados libaneses fueron atacados cuando se encontraban patrullando la zona desde su posición en Adaisseh en el sur del Líbano.

Three Lebanese have been killed in cross border fire with Israel. Hezbollah have claimed that one Israeli has been killed, also, but no confirmation has come from the state of Israel.
Kirmishes began earlier in the day with conflicting reports coming from news agencies in both countries claiming the other side fired first, and giving conflicting reasons as to what sparked the incident.
Four Lebanese soldiers have died, five more were wounded in a shelling of an army position by the Israeli military. A journalist was also killed.
The wounded soldiers were injured in shells fired at their position in Adaisseh village in the south of Lebanon.
