Fuentes palestinas reportaron que el miércoles (27 de octubre) soldados de Israel movilizándose en unidades blindadas, secuestraron a siete niños de Silwan al sur de la Mezquita Al Aqsa, en el este ocupado de Jerusalén.
Un testigó manifestó que los soldados tomaron por sorpresa a los niños cuando estos regresaban de la escuela. Hasta el momento el ejército no dio ninguna razón de por qué se llevó a estos niños.
Los chicos secuestrados por el ejército de Israel tienen entre 11 y 15 años; hasta el momento sólo el menor de ellos fue liberado. Los otros seis fueron trasladados a una estación de la policía israelí donde son sometidos a interrogatorio. Los chicos son de la región de Batn al-Hawa, Ein al-Louza, al-Ein y Wadi Hilwa.
Además de estas detenciones, Mohammad Gheith, de 14 años, de Batn al-Hawa, recibió la orden oficial, el martes pasado, de presentarse en la seccional más cercana de la policía para ser interrogado. Hoy jueves, el niño se dirigió acompañado de algunos parientes a la seccional y fue detenido acusado de haber atacado a cuatro soldados el 14 de octubre.
El incidente al que se refiere la policía, tuvo lugar cuando la madre y el hermano de este niño, fueron atacados en Ras al Amoud, Silwan, por policías, y Gheith intervino tratando de frenar la violecia de los oficiales contra su madre y su hermano. El acto de defensa de su familia, está siendo considerado como un ataque en contra de la policía.

Palestinian sources reported, Wednesday, that Israeli soldiers and undercover units of the Israeli army kidnapped seven children in the town of Silwan, south of the al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied East Jerusalem.
An eyewitness said that undercover soldiers ambushed the children while they were heading back home from school and kidnapped them. The army did not define the reason behind the children's arrest.
The kidnapped children are 11 – 15 years old; the youngest was released later on. The six remaining children were moved to a local Israeli police station for questioning. They are from the areas of Batn al-Hawa, Ein al-Louza, al-Ein and Wadi Hilwa.
Furthermore, Mohammad Gheith, 14, from Batn al-Hawa, received an official order, on Tuesday, to appear at the nearest police station for questioning. On Thursday, he arrived at the police station accompanied by one of his relatives and was arrested for “attacking four Israeli soldiers" on October 14th.
The incident the police referred to, allegedly took place during a violent attack on Gheith's brother and mother in Ras al-Amoud in Silwan. Gheith had tried to stop policemen from attacking and beating his brother and mother. The act of defending his family is being considered as an attack against the policemen

Un grupo de colonos fundamentalistas incendió, ayer miércoles, varios invernáculos pertenecientes a residentes palestinos de Nabi Saleh y Dir Nitham, cerca de la ciudad cisjordana de Ramallah.
Los colonos llegaron armados y acompañados de oficiales de seguridad del asentamiento Halmish e incendiaron los invernaderos ubicados en Ein al Zarqa, cerca de la villa de Betillo.
El fuego destruyó totalmente los invernáculos y todo lo plantado en su interior, vegetales y frutas, mientras se quemaban, los colonos destruyeron también los sistemas de irrigación y desarraigaron las plantas que quedaban en pie.
El ataque a las plantaciones abarcó un área de 2 dunam que pertencen al Nidal Mustafa Radwan y Mahmoud Radwan.

A group of fundamentalist settlers torched, on Wednesday, several agricultural hothouses that belong to residents of Nabi Saleh and Dir Nitham villages, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
The armed settlers, who were accompanied by the security officer of Halmish settlement, torched hothouses in Ein al-Zarqa area close to the Betillo village.
The fire causes excessive damage to several hothouses planted with vegetable and fruits while the settlers also damaged the irrigation systems of several hothouses and uprooted the plants.
The attacked hothouses occurred on a 2 dunam stretch that belong to residents Nidal Mustafa Radwan and Mahmoud Radwan.

Con protección de la policía, extremistas judíos de ultra derecha intentaron marchar hacia la ciudad de Umm al Fahm, en el norte de Israel, demandando la expulsión de todos los árabes del país y en conmemoración de Maer Kahane, fundador del movimiento Kach Movement.
Al menos 1500 policías se desplegaron en la ciudad. Los colonos, liderados por los fundamentalistas de ultra derecha, Baruch Marzel e Itamar Ben-Gvir, claman que el movimiento Islámico sea declarado ilegal en Israel.
Los colonos protestaron llevando carteles en contra de los árabes y del movimiento islámico.
Israel decidió permitir a los colonos de extrema derecha, marchar hacia el interior de la ciudad que está ocmpletamente poblada por palestinos, entre los que, una gran mayoría son muslmanes. Sin embargo se les prohibió llevar su protesta hasta las puertas del la sede del Movimiento Islámico, pero al acercarse la marcha a esa dirección, estallaron enfrentamientos entres árabes y manifestantes cuyo resultado fueron heridos y residentes detenidos, todos palestinos.
Este año, la policía israelí había desplegado sus fuerzas a lo largo de Umm al Fahm y Wadi Ara y la municipalidad de Umm al-Fahm decidió no declarar día de huelga general. El Mayor, Mustafa Suheil, consideró que los manifestantes de extrema derecha son una minoría y que no merecían atención.
El isarelí, Yedioth Aharanoth, reportó que un miembro árabe de Knesset, Afou Agbaria del partido Hadash, demandó que fue la policía de Israel la que en sus refranes y estribillos provocó a los lugareños, y que incumplieron con mala fe, la que hubiera sido su obligación en el lugar.
Un miembro del consejo de Umm al-Fahm, Riyadh Jamal, envió una carta al Mayor Khalid Hamdan, solicitándole una sesión urgente con representantes de las diferentes facciones y del Comité Árabe para discutir el tema de estas visitas provocativas y decidir la formas de lidiar con ellas.

Under police protection, right-wing extremists intend to march in the town of Umm al-Fahm, in the north of Israel to demand the expulsion of Arabs from the country and to commemorate Maer Kahane, the founder of the Kach Movement.
At least 1,500 policemen will be deployed in the town. The settlers, led by far-right fundamentalists, Baruch Marzel and Itamar Ben-Gvir, are calling for the Islamic Movement in Israel to be outlawed.
The settlers intend to hold a protest while carrying signs against Arabs in the country and against the Islamic Movement.
Israel decided to allow the fundamentalist right-wingers to march in the town, which is completely populated by Palestinians, the vast majority of whom are Muslim. However, they were informed that they will not be allowed to protest in front of the office of the Islamic Movement.
They will be holding their protest nearby the place where protests had been held last year, when clashes between protesters and Arab residents resulted in injuries and the detainment of dozens of residents by the police.
This year, the police decided to take certain measures reportedly meant to limit confrontations between the Arabs and the Israeli protesters. The measures include deploying hundreds of policemen in the areas of Umm al-Fahm and Wadi Ara.
Meanwhile, the Umm al-Fahm Municipality decided not to declare a general strike. Acting mayor, Mustafa Suheil, said that the extremist protesters are only a minority that does not deserve the attention.
Israeli Yedioth Aharanoth reported that Arab member of Knesset, Afou Agbaria of the Hadash Party, demanded that the Israeli police refrain from any provocative acts and to perform their duties faithfully.
Umm al-Fahm City Council member, Riyadh Jamal, sent a letter to Mayor Sheikh Khalid Hamdan, asking him to hold an urgent session to be attended by representatives of different factions and the Arab Follow-up Committee, in order to discuss the provocative visit and the ways to deal with it.
The Israeli daily, Haaretz, reported that the protesters intend to march near the the offices of the Islamic Movement to protest its participation in the Freedom Flotilla that headed to Gaza last May.
Seventy members of the movement, including its head Sheikh Raed Salah from Umm al-Fahm, participated in the humanitarian flotilla. Nine Turkish peace activists were killed and dozens of activists were wounded when the Israeli Navy attacked the Turkish Mavi Marmara solidarity ship.
Sheikh Salah accused the Israeli army of deliberately attempting to kill him when the soldiers boarded the ship.
Meir Kahane was a well-known right-wing Israeli rabbi and the leader of the Jewish organization, Kach. The movement was later regarded by Israel as a terrorist group.
He was known in the United States and Israel for advocating for massive Jewish immigration to Israel, and massive Arab expulsion, using the imminent threat of a "Second Holocaust," to justify the immigration.
He also promoted the idea a "Greater Israel," which supports a proposal for Israel to annex the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Kahane was shot and killed in Manhattan in 1990, following a speech he had given.

El miércoles al mediodía, por la tarde, un hombre palestino fue asesinado por artillería disparada por un tanque israelí estacionado en la ciudad de Jabalia, en el norte de la Franja de Gaza.
Fuentes médicas del hospital de Kamal'Adwan manifestaron ante la agencia de noticias palestinas WAFA, que el ciudadano palestino Jihad'Afana, de 20 años, trasladado al hospital, debió ser intervenido por varias cirujías para que se le retiraran de su cuerpo, varias esquirlas producto de la explosión.
El reporte agregó que otros dos ciudadanos de la ciudad de Beit Hanoun, fueron trasladados al hospital con heridas resultado de la misma explosión.
Las tropas también dejaron herido a un trabajador de Beit Hanoun, quien se encontraba recogiendo escombors para reciclar.

On Wednesday afternoon, a Palestinian man was killed by shrapnel fragments from an exploded artillery shell fired by Israeli tanks stationed in the town of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources at Kamal 'Adwan Hospital reported to the WAFA Palestine News Agency, that the citizen was identified as Jihad 'Afana, 20, who was transferred to the hospital following extensive injuries throughout his body from fragments of the exploded shell.
The source added that another two citizens from the town of Beit Hanoun arrived at the hospital after being injured with shrapnel shells. A worker who was injured by Israeli troops positioned in military towers near Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, was also injured while he was collecting ballasts.

Mohammad Awad, vocero del Proyecto Solidario con Palestina en Hebrón, reportó que el ejército, con 13 vehículos armados, irrumpió en varios hogares, los requisó y de allí se llevó a los jóvenes identificados como Hasan Kathem, de 20 años, Yousef 'Alkam, de 19, Wajeeh Sabarna, de 19, Hamza Sabarna, de 16, and Yousef Awad de 13.

Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Tuesday morning, five Palestinians from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the southern part of the West Bank, after first invading and searching several homes.
Mohammad Awad, spokesman of the Palestinian Solidarity Project in Hebron, reported that the army, supported by 13 armored vehicles, broke into several homes, searched them and kidnapped the residents identified as Hasan Kathem, 20, Yousef 'Alkam,19, Wajeeh Sabarna,19, Hamza Sabarna,16, and Yousef Awad, 13.

Un grupo de colonos fundamentalistas judíos atacó el sábado (23 de octubre) a un grupo de de manifestantes pacíficos que solicitaban la apertura de la calle Al Shuhada en la ciudad sureña de Cisjordania, Hebrón. Los colonos arrojaron piedras a los manifestantes y luego los rociaron con agua podrida.
La coalición de jóvenes organiza manifestaciones en contra de los asentamientos y la ocupación ilegal cada semana, a las que se suman activistas internacionales e incluso de Israel.
El pasado sábado, la marcha era acompañada por delegados de un grupo solidario proveniente de Francia, integrado por mayores y oficiales. Llevaban pancartas en inglés, en francés, árabe y hebreo, llamando a Israel a abrir la carretera Al Shuhada y a remover los asentamientos ilegales.
Demandaban libertad de tránsito a todos los residentes, especialmente luego de que Israel ha determinado zonas de Hebrón, "sólo para judíos".
Cuando la marcha se dirigía hacia la ciudad vieja de Hebrón, colonos del asentamiento ilegal Avraham Avino, atacaron a los manifestantes y los rociaron con agua podrida.

A group of fundamentalist Jewish settlers attacked on Saturday a group of nonviolent protestors who demanded Israel to reopen the Al Shuhada Street, in the southern West Bank city of Hebron. The settlers hurled stones at the protestors and sprayed them with waste-water.
The Youth Coalition Against settlements organizes weekly protests against the occupation and settlements while dozens of Israeli and international peace activists also participate in these protests.
On Saturday, the protestors, accompanied by delegates of a French solidarity group that includes mayors and officials, held their nonviolent protest and carried signs in English, French, Arabic and Hebrew, calling on Israel to open the Al Shuhada street and to remove the settlers.
They also demanded freedom of movement to all resident especially since Israel designates certain areas in Hebron as “Jewish only”.
As the protestors marched in the Old City of Hebron, settlers of the Avraham Avino illegal colony attacked the protestors by hurling stones at them and by spraying them with waste-water.
The settlement is located in the Vegetables Market that was taken over by the settlers and the army since 1994 and became a “no entry” zone to the Palestinians.
The protestors also marched towards a gate installed by the army to seal one of the roads that lead to Al Shuhada street, near Khan Shahin area, and demanded Israel to open all closed roads and to lift the illegal restrictions on the freedom of movement of the local Palestinians.
The head of the French organization stated that by touring in Hebron, he and his comrades, managed to observe the high price the Palestinians are paying due to the existence of settlements and the occupation.

A las 3.30 de la madrugada del sábado, cinco jeeps de fuerzas militares especiales de Israel, arrasaron las residencias de dos activistas del Proyecto Solidario para Palestina (PSP), en Beit Ommar. Mousa Abu Maria, cofundados del PSP y Ahmad Abu Hashem fueron despertados por el ruido de los soldados golpeando brutalmente a sus puertas. En ambas residencias, se les ordenó a los activistas internacionales salir con sus documentos e identificarse con los oficiales. Mientras tanto, soldados, destruían mobiliario en los hogares y desparramaban todo. Los soldados rodearon la zona y amenzaron a Mousa y a Ahmad con ser arrestados si regresan a las manifestaciones pacíficas que se hacen cada sábado, también se les advirtió de no llevar más activistas internacionales y se les dijo que Beit Ommar era zona militar cerrada a pesar de que Mousa enseñó los documentos que acreditan su propiedad de la tierra. Fueron intimidados y asediados durante media hora. La esposa de Mousa fue obligada a permanecer a la intemperie con su bebé, a pesar de ser ella ciudadana isarelí.
Hace dos semanas, soldados infiltrados en la protesta pacífica semanal en Beit Ommar, rociaron gas pimienta directamente sobre los ojos de varios activistas y palestinos, y arrestaron a jóvenes y activistas.

At 3:30am on the morning of Saturday, October 23, 2010, five jeeps of Israeli Forces raided the residences of two National Committee and Palestine Solidarity Project activists in Beit Ommar. Mousa Abu Maria, one of the co-founders of PSP, and Ahmad Abu Hashem, awoke with soldiers surrounding their houses and banging on their doors. At both residences, the activists were ordered to bring their IDs and step outside to talk to a military officer. At Mousa Abu Maria’s house, several soldiers then proceeded to enter his residence and search it, overturning sofa cushions and scattering boxes and clothes across the floor. Soldiers also surrounded the house of Mousa’s neighbor, shinning lights from their guns into his windows.
Mousa and Ahmad were each told by the military officer that they were known organizers of the weekly demonstrations that take place in Beit Ommar every Saturday. The officer threatened them with arrest if they returned to the demonstration, and also warned them not to bring international solidarity activists to participate in events planned by the committee. Mousa was told that all of Beit Ommar is a military closed zone, yet the officer refused to produce the legal papers proving this to be so. After about twenty minutes of blatant intimidation, the soldiers left without arresting either of the activists nor taking anything from their homes.
When both homes were raided, the families of Mousa and Ahmad were harassed. Mousa’s wife, who has Israeli ID, was also told to leave the house with their small baby even though the weather outside was cold. She returned to find baby clothes strewn around the bedroom floor.
These house raids of committee members follows intensified repression of Beit Ommar demonstrations on the part of the Israeli military. Two weeks ago, on October 9th, undercover Israeli Forces in Palestinian clothes arrested three Palestinian youth from the rear of the protest, and several international solidarity activists were pepper sprayed directly in the face. In total, four Palestinians and four solidarity activists were arrested. Another member of the National Committee, which organizes the demonstrations, Eyad Jamil Al Alami, was recently arrested after Israeli soldiers raided his family’s residence. Eyad is in Ofer prison and has been placed in administrative detention for four months.

Fuentes locales de Jerusalén, reportaron este lunes, que las autoridades isarelíes extendieron 231 órdenes de demolición de hogares palestinos y musulmanes en diferentes barrios del este ocupado de Jerusalén.
Las órdenes apuntan a hogares de Shu'fat, Silwan, Al Bustan, Beit Hanina, Al Esawiyya, Wadi Al Dam, Al Ras, Wadi Al Joz, entre otros barrios de Jerusalén oriental.
Varios palestinos resultaron heridos el domingo (24 de octubre) cuando la presentación de las órdenes de demolición por parte de la policía isarelí generó el enojo de los residentes y consecuentes enfrentamientos, en los barrios de Silwan y Al Bustan, al sur de las Mezquita Al Aqsa en Jerusalén Oriental.
Fuerzas encubiertas de Israel se sumaron a la invasión y apoyaron a la policía israelí en los enretamientos.
Hoy lunes, se realizaron marchas de protesta que conregaron a cientos de palestinos cerca de Bab Al Amoud en Jerusalén del Este, expresando su rechazo a las políticas de Israel contra los residentes palestinos, sus hogares y los sitios sagrados.
Portaban además pancartas con los retratos de los legisladores de Hamas electos en Jerusalén por mayoría, quienes se encuentran en movilización permanente en la Media Luna Roja de Jerusalén desde el mes de julio, luego que la corte israelí decidiera revocar sus docuemntos de identidad y ordenara su expulsión de la ciudad.

Local sources in Jerusalem reported Monday that the Israeli Authorities handed on Monday 231 demolition orders targeting Arab and Palestinian homes in several neighborhoods in occupied East Jerusalem.
The orders target homes in Shu'fat, Silwan, Al Bustan, Beit Hanina, Al Esawiyya, Wadi Al Dam, Al Ras area in Wadi Al Joz, and other neighbourhoods in East Jerusalem.
Several Palestinians were wounded on Sunday during clashes that took place while the Israeli police was handing orders for the demolition of Palestinian homes in Silwan and Al Bustan neighborhoods, south of the Al Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem.
Undercover forces of the Israeli army also invaded East Jerusalem and clashed with local residents.
Also on Monday, hundreds of residents protested near Bab Al Amoud in East Jerusalem, and expressed their rejection to the Israeli polices against the Palestinians, their homes and the holy sites in the city.
They also carried pictures of elected Hamas legislators in Jerusalem, who have been protesting at the Red Cross in Jerusalem since last July after an Israeli court decided to revoke their identity cards, and ordered their expulsion out of the city.

Esta mañana, viernes 22 de octubre, el ejército de Israel arrestó a cinco palestinos civiles de las ciudades de Beit Umar y Beit Awa, cerca de Hebrón.
Fuentes locales de Hebrón reportaron que el ejército israelí invadió las ciudades y arremetió contra los hogares de algunos residentes. En Beit Awa, al oeste de Hebrón, secuestraron sin portar ninguna orden ni cargos, a Abd Masalma de 45 años de edad. Otro de los detenidos es Saed Masalma de 23 años y Yosef Masalma. Ellos y los demás detenido fueron trasladados sin idara cnocer su destino.

Los integrantes del convoy solidario Arteria de Vida (Viva Palestina 5) se las arreglaron ayer juves 21 de octubre para ingresar a Gaza a través de la frontera de Rafah entre Egipto y la Franja.
Los suministros humanitarios e insumos médicos a bordo de camiones y vans, serán transportados hacia el centro de Gaza desde las terminales fronterizas de Rafah y Al Oja, durante este sábado y domingo.
Miles de residentes ofrecieron una calurosa bienvenida a los activistas entondando cánticos y slogans, con pancartas y condenas al sitio impuesto injustamente por la fuerza armamentista del estado de Israel.
Uno de los activistas, enfáticamente y emocionado dijo: "Después de una travesía de cinco semanas, hemos logrado entrar a Gaza" y agregó, "Gaza merece nuestro apoyo y todo el respeto y la solidaridad." Manifestó además su deseo de regresar a Gaza con alguna próxima flotilla.
"La próxima vez regresaremos de a miles, y no de a cientos," agregó, "Deseamos sacrificarnos por Palestina."
Para facilitar la entrada de activistas y suplementos de ayuda humanitaria, Qatar se alineó con Egipto.
Se esperaba que el Arteria de Vida navegara desde Siria a Egipto el pasado lunes, pero algunas complicaciones y obstáculos ocurrieron durante las charlas con las autoridades Egipcias.
Qatar pagó algunos gastos y pasajes de vuelo y Siria intervino para asegurar que los activistas y suplementos entraran a la sitiada Franja de Gaza.
El convoy está compuesto de 140 vehículos y camiones cargados de ayuda humanitaria e implementos médicos.

Participants of the Artery of Life (Viva Palestina 5) solidarity convoy managed to enter the Gaza Strip on Thursday afternoon via the Rafah Border Terminal between the Gaza Strip and Egypt.
The humanitarian and medical supplies aboard trucks and vans carried by the convoy will be sent to Gaza via the Rafah Terminal and the Al Oja Terminal most likely on this Saturday or Sunday.
Thousands of residents chanted slogans and welcomed activists who accompanied the supplies for slamming Israel’s illegal siege on Gaza.
One of the activists said, “After a long five week trip, we managed to enter Gaza," and added, “Gaza deserves support and all sorts of respect and solidarity.” He said that he would be willing to return to Gaza with another flotilla.
“Next time we will return in thousands, not in hundreds,” he added. “We are willing to sacrifice for Palestine.”
In order to facilitate the entry of the activists and the supplies, Qatar aligned with Egypt.
The Artery of Life was supposed to sail from Syria to Egypt last Monday, but several complications and obstacles had occurred during talks with the Egyptian authorities.
Qatar paid the expenses of some flights while Syria also intervened to ensure all activists and supplies make it into the besieged Gaza Strip.
The convoy carries 140 vehicles and trucks filled with humanitarian and medical supplies.

Los reportes agregaron que al menos, 2500 árboles de olivo han sido destruidos por el fuego de los incendios provocados por colonos israelíes en una semana, desde el jueves pasado, a hoy jueves 21 de octubre, solamente, teniendo en cuenta a las plantaciones del área de Burcin. Esta destrucción de plantación y cosecha, provoca un gran desastre para los pobladores que dependen del comercio de aceitunas y elaboracón y venta de aceite de oliva como recurso fundamente de sus sustento.
Testigos dijeron que los soldados se custodiaron el destrozo que provocaban los colonos y no permitieron el paso de bomberos ni autobombas de agua aludiendo que esperaban más personal de seguridad. El daño, que podría haber sido parcial, se hizo de ese modo, total, mientras los soldados no dejaban pasar a apagar el fuego y miraban cómo se incendiaban las plantaciones palestinas.

On Wednesday afternoon, a group of extremist Jewish settlers from Bracha illegal settlement, near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, attacked Palestinian villagers, cut and burned trees and injured one farmer.
Local sources reported that one villager from Burin was wounded after being violently attacked by the settlers while attempting to prevent them from uprooting his trees. Moneer Qadous was stabbed with a sharp object and was moved to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus.

The sources added that at least 2,500 olive trees belonging to Burin residents have been torched by the settlers since last Thursday. Such destruction creates a real disaster for the villagers as they depend on olives and olive oil as the main source of their livelihood.
Witnesses said that soldiers stood idle while the settlers were attacking the villagers and the orchards yet they prevented Palestinian firefighters from reaching the torched orchards under the pretext of waiting for proper security coordination, which leads to further losses as the fire continues to consume the trees.

Fuentes informativas de Nablus reportaron que aproximadamente 40 colonos invadieron la plantación y atacaron a los trabajadores.
Un testigo reportó que los soldados golpearon violentamente a Munir Kadus, un joven de veinte años cuando trato de evitar que abusaran de un niño que se encontraba con su familia en el lugar. Los testigos dijeron que más tarde, llegó una ambulancia y trasladaron a Kadus al hospital para que recibiera tratamiento.

El hombre fue trasladado al Hospital Europeo con una herida grave en el cuello.

Palestinian medical sources reported, Wednesday morning, that a 65-year-old man was wounded by a live round fired by Israeli soldiers stationed near the Sofa Crossing east of Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The man was moved to the European Hospital suffering from a gunshot injury to the neck. His condition was described as moderate.
The incident took place after the army opened fire on several Palestinian homes located close to the Sofa terminal between Khan Younis and Rafah.
On Tuesday evening, several armoured Israeli vehicles invaded an area in al-Qarara town, north of Khan Younis.

Fuentes informativas palestinas reportaron que este miércoles, un grupo de colonos atacó una escuela secundaria para niñas en el sur de Nablus y prendieron fuego su mobiliario y equipamiento deportivo.
El director de la escuela, Maysoon Sawalha, dijo a la agencia de noticias Ma'an que el cuidador del colegio se encontró que la cerradura de la puerta principal hjabía sido violaentada y también la del almacén.
El mobiliario destruido por las llamas incluye escritorios, pupitres, sillas y todo el equipo para la práctica deportiva.
Los colonos dejaron inscripciones racistas en las paredes de la escuela.
Sawalha agregó que no es la primera vez que algo así ocurre. Varios ataques similares se dieron con anterioridad en la misma escuela y en otras de la región de Nablus.
Sawalha solicitó a la institución nacional a cargo de la educación y a la comunidad internacional que hagan algo al respecto para frenas estos ataques que además de daño y pérdidas materiales provocan en los estudiantes graves daños psicológicos.

Palestinian sources reported, on Wednesday, that Israeli settlers attacked a secondary school for girls in the southern part of Nablus, and torched the furniture and sports equipment.
Maysoon Sawalha, the school principal, said to the Palestinian Ma’an News Agency that the school caretaker found the locks of the main door of the school and of the storage room broken.
School furniture, including desks, chairs and sports equipment were burned.
The settlers also wrote racist graffiti on the walls of the school.
Sawalha added that it is not the first time that such an attack happens. Several similar attacks took place last year against local schools in the Nablus area. .
Sawalha demanded that national institutions and the international community step in in order to stop these attacks especially since such attacks cause students psychological damage.

On Tuesday afternoon, an Israeli settler is alleged to have deliberately ran over a young Palestinian man from the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem, and fled the scene.
Tayseer Abu Mefreh, the director of the Municipality of Tuqa' reported to Palestine News Agency, WAFA, that Ra'fat Suliman was walking down the main road in the village when a settler in the area of 'Kherbat al-Dair' ran him over and fled the scene.

Fuentes locales reportaron que los enfretamientos tuvieron lugar en las últimas horas de este lunes 18, cuando la armada invadio imprevistamente el barrio de Batn Al Hawa.
Los soldados arrestaron allí a cinco residentes acusándolos de haber iniciado ellos los disturbios y los tomaron prisioneros junto a otras siete personas detenidas con anterioridad en en la misma zona.
Los soldados ocuparon los techos y terrazas de dos hogares de Batn Al Hawa y desde allí actuaban como si fueran torres militares de control.
Ayer domingo por la noche, al menos doce residentes resultaron heridos durante más enfrentamientos ocurridos entre soldados de Israel y policías contra vecinos de Silwan.
Fuentes locales informaro que los enfretamientos se están extendiendo hacias las áreas de Batn Al Hawa, Wadi Hilwa y Al Bustan.
Cientos de policías fueron desplazados en el área, arrojando bombas contras los hogares y atacando sin tregua a los manifestantes que salen a protestar contra la invasión.

Local sources reported that the clashes took place on Monday evening after the army invaded Batn Al Hawa neighborhood.
Soldiers kidnapped five residents and accused them of participating in the clashes. The kidnapping of the five residents raises the number of kidnapped residents in less than one day to twelve.
Furthermore, soldiers occupied the rooftops of two homes in Wadi Hilwa and Batn Al Hawa neighborhoods and used them as military towers .
On Sunday at night, at least twenty residents were wounded during clashes that took place with Israeli soldiers and policemen Silwan.
Local sources said that the clashes extended to the neighborhoods of Batn al-Hawa, Wadi Hilwa and Al Bustan.
Hundreds of policemen were deployed in the area while undercover forces also attacked the protesters and fired gas bombs at several homes.

Adham Abu Salmeyah, coordinador de medios de la Agencia de Noticias Ma'an, manifstó que el niño de 17 años fue herido de gravedad cuando se encontraba recogiendo escombros en Beit Lahiya en el norte de Gaza.
Abu Salmeya agregó que el número de heridos mientras juntan escombros se acerca a 20 desde que comenzó el verano.
Señaló que el ejército israelí que tiene una base en la frontera norte de la Franja, abre fuego cada vez que ve a palestinos cerca de allí para privarlos de ganar algún dinero con este trabajo.

El Ministerio del Interior de Israel, ordenó hoy miércoles, demoler nuevamente la villa beduina de Al Araqib en Al Negeb. Tanquetas pertenecientes al ministerio demolieron todas las estructuras que habían sido recosntruidas por sus pobladores por quinta vez.
Salim al-Makoli, vocero del consejo de pueblos no reconocidos, dijo que una gran cantidad de soldadoss, guardias fronterizos y unidades especiales invadieron el pueblo A Araqib en Al Negeb y tiraron abajo los hogares.
Agregó que los palestinos volverán a levantar sus viviendas tan pronto como las tropas abandonen el lugar y recalcó que ni los habitantes ni los activistas solidarios internaconales se rendirán y que seguirán reconstruyendo las casas tantas veces como Israel las tire abajo.
Esta tarde hubo una marcha pacífica de protesta en contra de esta política de demolición aplicada a la villa de Al Araqib.

Salim al-Makoli, the spokesman for the regional council of unrecognized villages, said that a large number of Israeli soldiers, border guards and special units invaded the town of al-'Araqib in al-Negeb, and started to demolish houses.
He added, that Palestinians will rebuild the houses as soon as the Israeli troops leave the area. He confirmed that villagers and peace activists will not give up and continue to rebuild the destroyed houses inspite of the ongoing Israeli demolition.
On Wendesday afternoon, there will be a non-violent demonstration against the policy of demolishing houses in the village of 'Araqib.

In Beir Ayoub, cerca de Silwan los soldados detuvieron a cuatro niños. Los niños fueron identificados como Ihab al shwaky, DE 11 AÑOS, Mohammad Mansour, de 13, Baha al Rajbe, de 12 y Jehad al Shwake, de 12 años. Tuesday night Israeli troops launched large-scale raids of homes in several neighbourhoods and battled with children in the town of Silwan near the Al Aqsa Mosque.
Eyewitnesses said that Israili soldiers broke the doors and windows of many houses and intimidated women and children.
The children resisted Israeli soldiers by hurling stones and glass objects; and by burning tires and placing obstacles in front of military patrols. The troops retaliated with sound bombs, rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas. One of the injured was identified as Silman Syam, 10.
In Beir Ayoub, near Silwan, several undercover soldiers disguised as Palestinians arrested four children. The children were identified as Ihab al-shwaky,11; Mohammad Mansour,13; Baha' al-Rajbe,12; and Jehad al-Shwake,12 . The children were taken to the al-Maskobeya detention and interrogation center in West Jerusalem.

Hoy lunes 11 de octubre, el ejército de Israel arrestó a cinco ciudadanos de Hebrón e invadió varias zonas de la región.
Fuentes de seguridad reportaron que los soldados israelíes arrestaron a Iyad Al Alanma, de 23 años, de la ciudad de Beit Ummar al norte de Hebrón; Al Alama es estudiante de la Universidad Politécnica y miembro del Comité Nacional en contra del muro y los asentamientos.
La familia de Al Alama, reportó que su hijo necesita para vivir un dispositivo eléctrico conectado en su corazón y que están preocupados por las complicaciones que pudiera sufrir como consecuencia del arresto.
El ejército israelí arrestó también al ciudadano Osama Faqusa, luego de haber invadido la ciudad de Karza cerca de Hebrón.
Fuentes de seguridad agregaron al reporte que las tropas invadieron la ciudad de Sa'er, al noreste de Hebrón y de allí detuvieron a tres civiles. Los ciudadanos fueron identificados como Nezar al Arameen, Raed Jaradat y Jehad al-Mator.
En cuanto a noticias relacionadas con esto, un nutrido número de soldados liderados por una ambulancia, se introdujeron raudamente en Beit Awa, barrio al sudoeste de Hebrón que invadieron, y otra cantidad de tropas se apostó en la entrada de Beit Kahel al norte de Hebrón.

On Monday, the Israeli army arrested five citizens from the Hebron area and invaded several other areas in the same region.
Security sources reported that Israeli soldiers arrested Iyad al-'Alama, 23, from the village of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron. Al-'Alama is a student at Palestine Polytechnic University and a member in the National Committee Against the Wall and Settlements.

Al-'Alama's family reported that their son has an electrical device in his heart and they are worried that he might suffer serious complications from the arrest which will affect his entire life.

The Israeli army also arrested citizen Osama Faqusa after the invasion of Karza village near Hebron.

Security sources added that Israeli troops invaded the town of Sa'er, northeast of Hebron, and arrested three citizens.The citizens were identified as Nezar al-'Arameen; Raed Jaradat and Jehad al-Mator.

In related news, a large number of Israeli soldiers along with an ambulance invaded the town of Beit 'Awa, southwest of Hebron, and a number of Israeli patrols stood at the entrance of Beit Kahel, north of Hebron.

Esta mañana, lunes 11 de octubre, el ejército israelí arrestó a Sajeda Al Awawda, de 20 años, de la ciudad de Doura, estudiante de la Universidad de Hebrón transportándola a destino desconocido.
El club de prisioneros palestinos de Hebrón sostuvo que el gobierno de Israel es responsable por cualquier hecho que atente contra la vida de la joven estudiante. El club, reportó además, que Sajeda Al Awawda es la esposa del ya cautivo Ali Abu Hashem. Desde su confinamiento en la prisión israelí, su esposo demandó la inmediata liberación de su mujer, ya que ha dado a luz a un bebé por cesárea, hace tan sólo dos semanas, lo que significa que Sajeda necesita todavía atención y cuidado médico, como así también ocuparse de su bebé.
El hermano de Sajeda, contó que después del secuestro, se le permitió a su hermana llamrlos por teléfono y que la obligaron a decir que está siendo procesada por la inteligencia israelí.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club in Hebron held the Israeli government fully responsible for the life of the detainee. The Club reported that Sajeda al-'Awawda is the wife of captive Ali Abu Hashem. From prison inside Israel, her husband demanded her immediate release, as she gave birth to a child just two weeks ago by surgery, still suffers the effects, and needs intensive medical care.
Sajeda's brother said that after the arrest, Israeli soldiers allowed her to call the family and forced her to say that she is under investigation by Israeli intelligence.

Fuentes médicas palestinas reportaron hace un par de horas que un niño de Silwan resultó gravemente afectado por el impacto de una bala de goma disparada directamente en su pierna y una bomba de gas lacrimógeno arrojada muy cerca de su cara. Los disparos respondieron a un enfrentamiento entre jóvenes palestinos y soldados israelíes en la ciudad de Silwan sobre el este ocupado de Jerusalén.
La agencia de noticias Maan, reportó que fuerzas del ejército israelí invadieron el área de Yacoub en Silwan y atacaron a una docena de jóvenes palestinos.
Los soldados dispararon munición real, de plomo, además de gases lacrimógenos y balas de goma. Fuentes médicas reportaron que Suleiman Siyam, de 12 años fue trasladado a una clinica local después de haber recibido estos dos violentos impactos, en su pierna y en su cara.
Muchos otros residentes fueron sofocados también por efecto de los gases y recibieron tratamiento médico.
Varias unidades del ejército invadieron y desmantelaron viviendas palestinas en Silwan y secuestraron cuatro niños de 12 años a los que sellevaron con destino desconocido.

Palestinian medical sources reported Monday evening that a child was shot by a rubber-coated bullets in his leg and a gas bomb in his face during clashes between Palestinian youths, Israeli soldiers and settlers in Silwan town, in occupied East Jerusalem.
The Maan News Agency reported that undercover forces of the Israeli army and Israeli soldiers invaded Yacoub Area in Silwan and clashed with dozens of youths.
Soldiers fired rounds of live ammunition, gas bombs and rubber coated bullets.
Medical sources in Jerusalem reported that Suleiman Siyam, 12, was moved to a local clinic after being hit by a rubber-coated bullet in his leg and a gas bomb in hi face.
Several other residents suffocated after inhaling gas fired by the army, and received the needed medical attention.
Furthermore, undercover units of the Israeli army broke into several Palestinian homes in Silwan, and kidnapped four 12-uear-old children.

Hace pocas horas en Beit Ommar, al sur de Cisjordania, cuando en el lugar era la 1.30 pm, cuatro palestinos, tres activistas internacionales y uno israelí, pertenecientes al Proyecto Solidario con Palestina (PSP), fueron arrestados por fuerzas israelíes durante una manifestación en contra de Karmei Tsur, asentamiento ilegal construido en tierras de Beit Ommar.
El activista israelí se encontraba herido, ya que los soldados lo arrastraron y golpearon en el piso y arrojaron gas pimienta directamente a sus ojos.
Cuando algunos soldados de Israel, apostados en la zona, distinguieron el acercamiento de la manifestación, se adelantaron hacia ellos y arrestaron a tres jóvenes palestinos. Luego tomaron a otro, que se trata de un palestino con deficiencia mental. Arojaron bombas y gases lacrimógenos y destruyeron la cámara de un periodista.
La manifestación es una rutina que se lleva a cabo cada sábado en Beit Ommar; comienza alrededor de la 1 pm y habitualmente unos 70 palestinos, acompañados de activistas internacionales e israelíes, marchan hacia el asentamiento ilegal Karmei Tsur. Beit Ommar, Southern West Bank, 1:30pm: four Palestinians, three internationals and one Israeli solidarity activist were arrested by Israeli Forces during a Palestinian demonstration against Karmei Tsur, an illegal Israeli settlement built on Beit Ommar land.
The arrested Israeli solidarity activist was injured after Israeli Forces held her down and deployed pepper spray directly to her eyes.
Several Israeli soldiers disguised as Palestinians came behind the demonstrators and arrested three Palestinian youth. An additional Palestinian activist with mental disabilities was arrested during the protest. Sound bombs and tear gas were used by the Israeli military against the demonstrators, and one member of the press had their camera broken by a soldier.
The demonstration, which takes place in Beit Ommar every Saturday, started at around 1pm as 70 Palestinians, supported by International and Israeli solidarity activists, marched towards the Karmei Tsur settlement. The demonstration is organized by the National Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in Beit Ommar, and the Palestine Solidarity Project.
Around two dozen Israeli soldiers and border police blocked the path of the demonstrators, who began to chant against the occupation. Israeli soldiers then began making arrests and firing sound bombs and tear gas directly at protesters. Members of the press were also beaten by soldiers. Some of the youth in the demonstration responded by throwing stones.
Karmei Tsur is one of five Israeli settlements, deemed illegal by international law, that are built on land belonging to Beit Ommar villagers.

Fuentes médicas palestinas de la ciudad de Hebrón al sur de Cisjordania reportaron en la mañana de este viernes -8 de octubre- que dos palestinos fueron asesinados y más de diez resultaron heridos producto de una invasión del ejército israelí que rodeó la vivienda de un supuesto miliciano de la resistencia y la atacó con morteros.
Poco después de la medianoche, al menos 40 soldados, vehículos militares y tanquetas invadieron el Monte Jawhar en Hebrón abriendo fuego a su camino. Las tropas rodearon luego tres edificios y comenzaron a demolerlos.
Fuentes locales informaron que los edificios atacados pertenecen a Radwan Rajabi, Saadi Borqan y Ayyoub Gheith.
De acuerdo a la versión del ejército israelí, se trata de tres milicianos que se atrincheraron allí y que los mismos se negaron a rendirse. Los soldados rodearon todos los hogares de la zona y ordenaron por megáfonos a todos los vecinos que salieran de sus casas.
Más tarde hicieron descargas de armas automáticas sobre las viviendas y arrojaron varios morteros. Además demolieron las paredes que rodeaban los tres hogares de las víctimas principales.
Diez palestinos fueron secuestrados por personal del ejército israelí y trasladados a campos de concentración.

Palestinian medical sources in the southern West Bank city of Hebron reported Friday morning that two Palestinians were killed and ten others were wounded after the army invaded the city, surrounded a house of a resistance fighter and fired mortars at it.
Shortly after midnight, at least 40 military vehicles and armored bulldozers invaded Jawhar Mountain in Hebron while several army choppers fired flares . Troops then surrounded a three-story home and started demolishing it.
Local sources reported that the surrounded building is owned by Radwan Rajabi, Saadi Borqan and Ayyoub Gheith.
According to the military, resistance fighters barricaded themselves in the building and refused to surrender. Soldiers also surrounded nearby houses and used loud speakers to order the residents out.
Later on, soldiers opened automatic fire at the buildings, fired several mortars. and also demolished walls surrounding three other homes.
In addition, soldiers kidnapped at least 10 Palestinians who were move to an interrogation camp.
Eyewitnesses said that one body was seen on the ground and that the army confiscated cameras and tapes from reporters who arrived at the scene.

Esta mañana -viernes 8 de octubre- un mujer de cinvuenta años, Hania Odeh, falleció de un ataque cardíaco luego de haber vivido una situación de stress grave provocada por un ataque de colonos hace dos semanas en Silwan, Jerusalén.
El corresponsal de la agencia Ma'an reportó que la mujer había sido herida el día 22 de septiembre, cuando un colono israelí abrió fuego en dirección de un grupo de pobladores de Silwan, asesinando a Samer Sarhan e hieriendo a tres civiles.
La señora Odeh sufrió un ataque al corazón severo cuando vio a su yerno muerto tirado en la calle. En ese momento fue trasladada a un hospital donde falleció esta mañana.

Friday morning a women in her fifties, Hania Odeh, died from a stress induced heart attack sustained two weeks ago in Jerusalem.
Ma'an News Agency correspondent in Jerusalem reported that this women was injured last September 22, when an Israeli settler opened fire in the direction of some residents in Silwan, killing Samer Sarhan and injuring three other civilians.
Mrs. Odeh suffered a severe heart attack when she saw her son-in-law lying dead on the ground. She was moved to the hospital and passed away on Friday morning.

Palestinian medical sources reported that eleven Palestinians were wounded Thursday in Gaza after the Israeli army conducted several aerial attacks, and attempted to assassinate a resistance fighter. Damage was reported to several homes.
The army fired a missile at a vehicle driven by a senior fighter of the Palestine Eagles Brigades, an armed group formed in Gaza in 2008. The missile hit the vehicle on the side causing excessive damage and wounding two passengers and two bystanders.
Earlier in the day, a worker was wounded in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, after Israeli soldiers opened fire at him. His injuries were described as serious.
The army carried out two other air strikes targeting farmlands in Al Zeitoun neighborhood and Juhr Ad Deek, in Eastern Gaza; no injuries were reported.

Un colono israelí atropelló esta tarde, viernes 8 de octubre, a dos niños palestinos en el barrio de Silwan de Jerusalén.
Testigos reportaron que después de los rezos tradicionales del viernes en la carpa de protesta de Silwan, se produjeron enfrentamientos entre colonos y palestinos. De acuerdo con las personas que estaban presentes en el lugar, el director de la organización de colonos de Elad, David Be'eri, deliberdamente arrancó su auto y encaró de frente a dos niños palestinos a los que atropelló, huyendo luego de la escena.
Los dos niños fueron identificados como Imran Mansour, de 11 años y Eyad Gheith de 10, y fueron trasladados al hospital Al-Maqased donde se encuentran recibiendo atención médica.
Según destaca el diario israelí Haaretz, Be'eri es un conocido activista de ultra derecha además de ser el director en Elad, de una organización sin fines de lucro que persigue establecer la Ciudad de David en Jerusalén Oriental,a demás de fomentar el afincamiento de judíos en el área.
Los colonos israelíes han usurpado por la fuerza un gran número de hogares en Silwan.

An Israeli settler hit two Palestinian children with his car causing Friday afternoon in Silwan neighbourhood of Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses reported that after the Friday prayer at the Silwan protest tent, clashes erupted between Israeli settlers and Palestinian youth. According to the witnesses report, head of Elad settler organization, David Be'eri, deliberately hit the two children with his car and fled the scene.
The two children were identified as Imran Mansour, 11 and Eyad Gheith 10, and were taken to Al-Maqased hospital for treatment. Their wounds were described as moderate.
According to the Israeli daily online, Haaretz, Be'eri is a well-known right-wing activist and is the director of Elad, a nonprofit organization that runs the City of David in East Jerusalem and also works to settle Jews in the area.
Israeli settlers have taken by force a number of homes in Silwan.

Colonos israelíes expanden cerca de Tubas-Israeli settlers expand near Tubas

Durante la noche del miércoles 6 de octubre, un grupo de colonos judíos comenzó a construir expandiendo su asentamiento de Michola sobre el Valle del Jordán cerca de la ciudad de Tubas en el cenetro de Cisjordania.
El centro de información y noticias de Palestina, WAFA, reportó que los colonos comenzaron a agregar unidades habitacionales y caravanas al asentamiento y que continuamente entraban camiones.
El gobernador de Tubas, Marwan Tubasi, dijo que al parecer los colonos están agregando tres edificios residenciales.
El asentamiento es uno de los más grandes, ubicados en una zona agrícola palestina sobre el valle del río Jordán.
Tubasi agregó que los colonos están llevando a cabo otros planes de construcción en Maskiot, otro asentamiento.
Agregó que Israel quiere crear una realidad nueva en el valle del Jordán, famosa en Palestina por su prolífera producción de frutas, para asegurarse la presencia en esa región y forzar a los palestinos a abandonar sus tierras y sus hogares.

On Wednesday night a group of Jewish settlers started construction for the expansion of Michola settlement, in the Jordan Valleynear the central West Bank city of Tubas.
The Palestine News and Information Center, WAFA, reported that the settlers started adding units and caravans to the settlement and that cement trucks were seen entering it. Tubas governor, Marwan Tubasi said that it seems the settlers have managed to add three residential units so far.
The settlement is one of the biggest agricultural settlements in the Palestinian Plains area in the Jordan Valley.
Tubasi added that setters are also conducting construction work in Maskiot settlement in the area.
He stated that Israel wants to create a new reality in the Jordan Valley area, well-known as the fruit basket of Palestine, in order to secure a permanent presence and force the Palestinians out of their homes and lands.
