Tres heridos, tres arrestados, cuando tropas atacaron marcha anti Muro-Three injured, three arrested, as troops attack anti Wall Protest.

Soldados israelíes hirieron a tres civiles palestinos y detuvieron a otros tres este jueves durante una protesta contra el Muro en la aldea de Al Walaja cerca de la ciudad cisjordana de Belén.
A las 8:00 am pobladores de Al Walaja junto con los partidarios internacionales e israelíes trataron de impedir que las topadoras militares avanzaran sobre el terreno para seguir eliminando olivos y posibilitar la construcción del muro.
La gente logró impedir que las topadoras pasaran, formando una cadena humana en su camino. Las tropas israelíes usaron gas pimienta y porras para alejar a los manifestantes, tres aldeanos palestinos resultaron heridos.
Mahmoud Al Araj, 27 años, Mahmoud Mohamed Al Araj, 23 años y su hermano Ahmad, de 24 años de edad fueron trasladados al hospital tras sufrir heridas de menor consideración debido al ataque de los soldados, informaron testigos.
Los soldados también detuvieron a tres manifestantes palestinos, el Dr. Mazin Qumssiya, miembro del Comité Popular Contra el Muro y los asentamientos en el cercano pueblo de Beit Sahour, además de otros dos ciudadanos de Al Walaja Diyya y Nafith Hamdan.
Israel reanudó el trabajo en esta sección del Muro el mes pasado. Los aldeanos dijeron que las excavadoras del ejército lograron arrancar 100 olivos pertenecientes a agricultores locales. Algunos de los olivos se remontan a la época romana, agregó el agriculto.

Israeli troops injured three Palestinian civilians and detained three others on Thursday during an anti wall protest at Al Walaja village near the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.
At around 8:00 am villagers of Al Walaja along with international and Israeli supporters tried to stop military bulldozers from uprooting olive trees to make way for the wall construction.
People managed to stop bulldozers by forming a human chain in its path. Israeli troops used pepper spray and batons to move the protesters away; three villagers were injured.
Mahmoud Al Araj, 27 years old, Mahmoud Mohamed Al Araj, 23 years old and his brother Ahmad, 24 years old were moved to hospital after sustaining moderate wounds due to soldiers’ attack, witnesses reported.
Troops also detained three Palestinian protesters; Dr. Mazin Qumssiya, member of the Popular Committee Against the Wall and settlements in the nearby town of Beit Sahour in addition to two bothers from Al Walaja Diyya and Nafith Hamdan.
Israel resumed work at this section of the wall last month. Villagers say the army bulldozers had uprooted 100 olive trees owned by local farmers so far. Some of those olive trees date back to the Roman Era, farmers added.
The Israeli army forced Al Walaja villagers in 1949 out of their village that use to be located inside the Green Line. Villagers moved to what was left of their lands located between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
In 1967 Israel annexed the new village to Jerusalem but the residents were not granted Israeli IDs. Moreover the military do not give residents any permission to build homes or public facilities.
