Israel destruye un pueblo beduino-Israel destroys Bedouin village

1300 oficiales y personal de seguridad custodiaban la zona mientras las tanquetas demolían un pueblo beduino en las cercanías de Rahat.
El personal de seguridad israelí y miembros the la repartición de Administración de la Tierra de Israel, llegaron al pueblo beduino Al Arakib, cerca de Rahat, en la mañana de este martes 27 de julio. Ellos dicen no reconocer la legalidad de la villa.
Cuando los israelitas llegaron al lugar se encontraron con varias hogueras que en forma de protesta habían encendido los habitantes del sitio.
Las fuerzas de Israel destruyeron 45 viviendas mientras sus pobladores observaban con trsiteza cómo las tiraban abajo. Algunos activistas no soportaron la bronca y chocaron con golpes con las autoridades de la administración de la tierra.
El Dr.Awad Abu Farikh, vocero y residente del lugar, fue entrevistado y dijo "Hoy tenemos una muestra cercana de la verdadera cara del gobierno de Israel. Estamos consternados de ver cómo se está usando la fuerza contra testigos pacíficos. Las unidades especiales de fuerza son la verdadera cara de la democracia de Lieberman. Esta operación es solamente la primera de una serie prevista de desarraigo para otros residentes palestinos y sus pueblos. Nosotros regresaremos, agrego, reconstruiremos nuestros hogares y no abandonaremos nuestra tierra."
Un vocero de la Administración de la Tierra de Israel, respondió a ésto diciendo que cada vez que reconstruyan, ellos volevran a destruir cada esctructura que levanten.

1300 police officers and security personnel guarded the area as bulldozers demolished a Bedouin village near Rahat.
Israeli security personnel and from the Israel Land Administration arrived at the Bedouin village of al-Arakib, near Rahat, Tuesday morning. The village is unrecognized by the state of Israel.
When the Israelis arrived they found large bonfires had been lit by the locals in protest.
They destroyed a total of forty-five structures. The residents watched as their lives were destroyed and some left-wing activists clashed with the authorities.
Dr. Awad Abu Farikh, a spokesman and resident of the village, was quoted as saying that, "Today we got a close glimpse of the government's true face. We were stunned to witness the violent force being used. The black-clad special unit forces are the true face of Lieberman's democracy. This operation is the first step in the uprooting of many villages. We shall return to our villages, build our homes and not leave this place."
A spokesman for the Israel Land Administration said that anything that is rebuilt will be taken down.
