Una nave israelí lista para atacar la nave Libia solidaria-Israeli navy readies to attack Libyan aid ship

Radio Israel informó, la mañana de este martes, que la Marina israelí fue puesta en alerta el lunes por la noche, y se prepara para interceptar el barco de Libia que navega con ayuda humanitaria para Gaza desde hace dos días. El barco zarpó desde Grecia e intentará desembarcar los suministros humanitarios en la cotas de la Franja de Gaza.
Unidades especiales de la armada y varios barcos de combate han avanzado mar adentro y se alistan para interceptar el barco librio de ayuda y llevan la directiva de, si es necesario, usar la fuerza contra el buque para impedirle de cualquier manera que no llegue a las cistas de Gaza.
Un comandante de la Marina de alto rango afirmó que la armada se encargará del buque libio de la misma manera que lo hizo con la Flotilla de la Libertad a finales de mayo.
El comandante agregó que los mensajes que se enviarán al capitán de la nave solidaria serán claros. Se le ordenará que se dirijan al Puerto de Ashod, donde deberán atracar y descargar. Afrimó que si el capitán del barco libio deshoye las órdenes del comando de la marina de guerra israelí, entonces se verán obligados a recurrir a la fuerza y atacarlos.
Por otra parte, el diario israelí Haaretz informó, este martes, que el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores dio instrucciones al Ejército y la Marina que no intercepten el buque antes de su llegada a las aguas territoriales de Gaza, que deben esperar al menos cuando estén muy cerca, con el fin de evitar la "violación de la ley internacional" y cometer otro acto de piratería.
Haaretz agregó que el ministerio hizo la misma petición con respecto a la Flotilla de la Libertad, pero que el gobierno central no la aceptó.
El Departamento Jurídico del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores considera que las declaraciones de la tripulación del buque de Libia en relación con la determinación de alcanzar la costa de Gaza no puede ser suficiente para justificar un ataque contra el buque en aguas internacionales.

The Legal Department at the Foreign Ministry believes that the statements of the crew of the Libyan ship regarding determination to reach the Gaza shore might not be enough to justify attacking the ship in international waters.
